𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲 | 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐬 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐉𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭

It pains the heart of many to witness how quick people are to judge, especially when the judgment comes not from truth, but from something as shallow as appearance. Recently, a young woman bravely stood before the public, raising her voice for justice, yet instead of listening to her message, many chose to mock her armpit discoloration. They laughed, they pointed, and they reduced her courage to a flaw that was never meant to define her.

This experience made us realize how cruel and blind people can be. The true issue was never her underarms, but the corruption she was bravely fighting against. Yet society, with its sharp tongue and shallow eyes, turned their focus to something meaningless. It hurt us, because their judgment was not just unfair, it was a distraction from the truth that desperately needed to be heard.

From this, we have learned that true strength lies in the courage to speak up, not in the perfection of one’s appearance. A woman’s worth should never be measured by how flawless her skin looks, but by the power of her convictions. Mockery may gain attention for a while, but it does nothing to solve the real problems of our society.

Injustice will never be corrected if we continue to look only at appearances. The real flaws that we should call out are dishonesty, greed, and corruption, not something as normal as skin discoloration. Judging others unfairly not only demeans them, but also reveals the weakness in our own character. We must learn to respect voices that rise against the wrong, because every insult thrown at them weakens the fight for justice.

I hope we all learn not to be swallowed by our judgment. They can make us more cruel than the corrupt politicians we condemn. Let us be the VOICE, the STRENGTH, and the NEW powerful generation who will never be silenced.

𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲 | 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐛𝐚𝐤𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐬𝐚 𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐥 𝐧𝐚 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐬

A man was arrested after he joined the rally. The funny part? All he wanted was to lower the price of fishballs, kwek kwek, calamari, and other street foods. The level of absurdity in this act became so iconic that the internet turned this into a meme. While others fight for the stolen billions and ghost projects of the government, all he wants is to lower the price of street foods.

It's hilarious and funny, but have we ever thought deeper into this? What if the things that are small to us are something that is big for others? What if these small things are the reason for their daily survival? What if they burn their skins under the scorching sun just for these small things? What if these small things that they fight for are not really small? We deem it as petty, but for them, it's priceless, and that is something that we failed to see.

We complain about the corrupt government, yet we do not take action. "Walang mali sa pag laban, may mali kaya lumaban (BLKD)."

To this man, with all our hearts, we salute your bravery. You fought well, and your voice won't stay unnoticed, a small act that could possibly change an already rotten system.

Martial Law was declared in the Philippines on September 21, 1972, by Ferdinand Marcos — a time where many Filipinos recall as one of the darkest chapter of our country's history. A period where the truth was silenced, fear was a part of daily life, and power was abused — opening the door to corruption.

Even today, our nation continues to struggle with corruption — an enemy that robs Filipinos not only with resources but also of dignity and trust. We see it in promises that sealed with deception, stolen opportunities, and systems that fail the very people they are meant to serve.

As the youth, we carry the responsibility to remember, to questions, and above all, to speak. The memory of Martial Law teaches us that silence is never neutral — it sides with the oppressor.

September 21 is not just a date in history — it is a call to action. Never Again. Never Forget.

Yesterday, September 15, 2025, all 1st- to 4th-year students from the English and Math Departments gathered at the CCC Court for Prepared to Survive: A Symposium on Water Safety and Survival Techniques — a powerful and eye-opening lecture themed "Responsibility, Readiness, and Resilience in Maritime Safety."

The event highlighted the vital role of the Philippine Coast Guard (Tanod Baybayin ng Pilipinas) — the guardians of our seas, stewards of safety, and silent protectors of our maritime borders. From marine environmental protection, such as coastal cleanups and mangrove planting, to maritime safety, search and rescue, law enforcement, and security patrols, we learned that the PCG isn’t just about boats and uniforms — it’s about responsibility, readiness, and resilience.

We also explored the distinctions among the Philippine Navy, the Philippine Maritime Group, and the Philippine Coast Guard — each with its own unique focus but all working toward the same goal: protecting our nation, especially within the 200-mile Exclusive Economic Zone, where our natural resources lie.

‎A symposium for freshmen with the theme “Youth Servants of the Nation: Pillars of Change and Progress” was held at the Cabarrus Catholic College Inc. All students from BEED 1A, 1B, 1C, and AB ELS 1A, 1B, 1C were the first audiences for the said event, held on the morning of September 13, 2025, from 7:30 a.m to 11:45 a.m. They gathered in the campus covered court and reflected on how leaders serve the youth— exploring how an individual can take on the role of director, organizer, mentor, guide, and adviser in nation-building.

‎In the afternoon, the event continued at exactly 1:15 p.m. It was spearheaded by first-year BSED English 1A,1B,1C ,1D and Math 1A together with the NSTP Instructors.

The training program provided students with practical leadership tools to help them better understand their roles as student leaders and role models

The speakers encouraged the students to adopt a proactive and positive leadership approach, inspiring them to become changemakers in their respective communities. The training program was a valuable experience that will help students create progressive and healthy communities

Youth servants of the nation are the true pillars of change and progress, embodying leadership, integrity, and service. With their energy, passion, and commitment to growth, they are not only the hope of tomorrow but also the driving force of today—shaping communities and inspiring others to rise with purpose.

Today, September 08, 2025 at the CCC Covered Court, Cabarrusians from both Basic and College Department celebrated The Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The Holy Mass, presided by Rev. Fr. Radny T. Bayog, PH.D, truly set a tone of gratitude and reflection, with prayers and hymns lifting everyone's hearts to thank Mary for her faith, humility, and inspiring example. The Feast of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary is such a beautiful occasion, honoring Mary's birth as a moment of hope and grace, marking the beginning of God's plan for salvation through Christ.

On top of that, it's a special day of leadership and new beginnings for the school community. The induction of the new officers for the school year 2025–2026 is a significant moment, entrusting them with the responsibility to lead with honesty, integrity, and vision. These officers are stepping into a role that not only serves their fellow students but also upholds the values and mission of the school.

It’s truly a day to celebrate faith, community, and leadership. May the Virgin Mary guide both the school and its new leaders toward a year of success and unity.

Sa ikalawang bahagi ng programa, magiliw ang bawat isa nang nagpamalas ang piling mga mag aaral ng kanilang talento mula sa pag awit hanggang sa pag sayaw. Nagsimula ang pagtatanghal ng Spoken Poetry sinundan naman ito ng Sabayang Pagbigkas, Balagtasan, Kundiman, Tanging Awit, Dalawahang Pag awit, Kwartet at ang pang huli ay Sayaw Dula. Kalakip ang minsahi na nag papaalala na huwag kalimutan ang Wika na kinagisnan at ipninag laban.

Sa bawat hibla ng mga nakabibihaning filipiniana, dala-dala ang ating makasaysayang tradisyon at kultura.

Kabilang sa makulay na selebrasyon nang araw na Wika ang Pagpapahalaga at pagmamalaki ng yaman ng Kulturang Pilipino. Kaya huwag natin palalampasin ang kagandahan ng mga iba't-ibang kasuotan na inihanda ng ating mga Ginoo at Binibini.

Sa kanilang paghakbang suot ang mga nakabibihaning desinyo diwa ng makasaysayang estilo at sagisag ng ating makabayan, pagkakaisa at pagmamalaki sa ating lahi. Sa pagsuot ng mga iba't-ibang Katutubong kasuotan gaya ng filipiniana, baro't saya at iba pa.

Sumasalamin rito ang ating pakakilanlan bilang Pilipino at sining ng ating kasaysayan at tradisyon.

Pinangunahan ito sa pamamagitan ng sa pagsuot ng mga Katutubong kasuotan, Paghanda ng iba't ibang tradisyonal na Pilipinong pagkain aktibong nakiisa palarong pambansa. Bahagi rin ang mga paligsahan na magpapamalas ng talento, husay, at pagmamahal sa kultura, kabilang ang Tanging Awit, Dalawahang Pag-awit, Kuwarteto, Balagtasan, Sayaw-Dula.

Simbolo ng makulay na selebrasyon na ito ang pagsigaw ng sining ng wikang pambansa—isang araw na pagkakaisa pagpapahalaga ng Filipinong Wika, pagmamamalas ng talento, sining at pagmamahal sa ating kultura.

Mabuhay ang ating Wikang Filipino at Kulturang Pilipino! ✨🇵🇭
