A prayer for Safety and Hope
Dear God,
As the winds rise and the rain pours,
We turn to You, our shelter in every storm.
Protect every soul in the path of this typhoon..
Children, families, the vulnerable..
Surround every home with Your shield of mercy,
Guide the hands of those who serve and rescue,
And bring peace to hearts heavy with fear.
May the raging winds calm,
And the waters recede gently.
May the damage be light,
But even more, may kindness rise in its wake.
Bring comfort to those who are anxious,
Shelter to those who need it,
And peace to every heart.
Let Your light shine through the darkest clouds, And bring a rainbow of hope after the rain.
May this rainbow remind us:
That no storm lasts forever,
That love is stronger than fear,
And that even after the fiercest storm,
Your promise remains.
We pray not just for safety,
But for strength to rebuild,
Faith to endure,
And kindness to share with one another.
Hold us close, Father.
We lift a quiet prayer for our leaders too
that their hearts be guided by compassion,
their choices shaped by wisdom,
and their actions rooted in love for the people.
May they lead with courage and care,
so that every life in our country may grow with dignity, peace, and light.
Let hope rise like the sun after the storm
And may we find in each other the colors of the rainbow,
Brighter together, united in compassion.
