Sharing our beach camping last Saturday at The Beach Camp at Lian. It was jampack but we still enjoyed it. Medyo makalat pa yung setup namin but we're working on it.🤣

New year's day 2023 when we did our very first family camping. Naka-bili na ng onting camping gears...Tent na pang 2 persons mh100 from decathlon, no brand tarp, generic camping chairs. Yan palang gamit namin nun. Since tinatry pa lang namin if the kids will enjoy. Ayun, nung nakita namin na happy sila at enjoy naman, we decided na bumili ng gamit unti- unti..😁

This was our very first beach day camp. Pandemic days pa. Need pa ng advance booking at vax card.🤣 Wala pa rin kami kahit anung gamit. Picnic mat lang. Sobrang nagenjoy si bagets kaya sabi ko since pandemic and di pede mag mall or lumabas labas mga kids, tapos mga ganito palang yung mga activities na pede, mag bubuo ako ng gamit pang camping...so dun na nagsimula...🤣 ang parang walang katapusang gastos...

Where it all started...

It was in early 2000's when my sister introduced me to the world of camping. Naaalala ko pa how it amazes me everytime nakikita ko sya pag umaalis sya with her huge red bobcat backpack with tent on the side and sleeping bag strapped on top.

Holy week, di ko tanda anung taon pero kasikatan ng kantang Dove by Moony nun kaya around early 2000s talaga and she decided to bring me along with her (probably because our mom told her to do so 🤣) on a week long beach vacation in White Beach, Puerto Galera. We took the bus from Buendia going to Batangas Pier. Holy week so maraming kasabay na umuwi, marami tao, maraming sasakyan...inabot ata 6 hours yung byahe..🤣 Pag dating ng pier, we had the legit Batangas Lomi...Yun din yung first time ko nakatikim nun and it was heaven. After that sumakay kami MV Brian ferry to the island.

She introduced me to her friends which at the time just came back from hiking Mount Halcon. Grupo sila ng mountaineers. Dami ko natutunan saknila. I've seen these guys made a restaurant quality pasta from whatever ingredients they had, the afritadang Luncheon Meat was a hit and many more. It was an entire week of eating, drinking (Gin-Mansi and Mindoro Sling🤘🤘🤘) , sm*k*ng and partying. Grabe yung experience nun. Unforgettable talaga.

Fast forward to today, I want my children to see the beauty of nature, experience the fun and joy of camping (and less gadgets)...and so here we are...
