The creative force behind Pidrohfiles TV is Engr. Direk Pete is a Writer, Director, Editor and Cinematographer who has written and directed the full-length feature “BABAYLAN” starring Derrick Monasterio and Nikki Valdez. He is also the Co-Director and Cinematographer of the Cordilleran advocacy short film “DAYAS” starring Jeyrick “Carrotman” Sigmaton who won Best Actor at the International Film Festival Manhattan 2021. Peter was awarded the International Best Cinematographer and Director of the Year award at the Ika-Tatlong Dangal ng Lahi Awards 2021. He has recently directed the 36th Star Awards for Movies, 12th Star Awards for Music and the 34th Star Awards for Television for the Philippine Movie Press Club and the Film Development Council of the Philippines. He also wrote and directed the “Spring Festival 2022” a 5-part documentary series produced by the Confucius Institute of Ateneo De Manila and the Sun Yat Sen University of China and aired in the Philippines and China on February 1, 2022.
