Where To Next

Where To Next We tell stories and create products that aim to inspire you to go on meaningful adventures. https://linktr.ee/wheretonextph

We created Where To Next because we wanted a space where we can be creative on our own terms. Weekends became opportunities to bring people to the outdoors and witness them fall in love with it. By simply telling stories, we could inspire others to follow their curiosities, to make them feel less alone, and more understood. Travel for us is no longer the desired end. It is just a means to connect and change people through our art.

As women, we pour our energy into others, showing up and holding space in ways big and small. 🧗‍♀️👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩

This week, we had the chance to carve out time for ourselves—to move, to breathe, and to share the outdoors with an all-women hiking team. A quiet reminder that tending to ourselves is just as important.

Happy International Women’s Day from the Where To Next team! Big thanks to for inviting us to be part of this adventure and to of for the stills! 📸

After some time away, it felt only right to return to the place where it all began—La Union. This time, we had the joy of co-creating this workshop with a dear friend and her new venture, , a boutique experience agency.

To everyone who said yes to being present, to diving deep into reflection, and to sharing their stories of becoming—thank you. If there’s one thing the sea teaches us, it’s that the right wave will find its way to you. And no matter how far you drift, you can always, always return to yourself.

The Rain

The rain makes me think of the future. Like a quiet alarm, without a sound, it brings me back to my desk—a Tanguile desk I started making for my sister back when she needed it. By the time I finished, she didn’t need it anymore. The rain had kept me from finishing it sooner.

Now, the desk sits in the room I moved back into, while I help put my sister through her final year of college. The rain still makes me think of the future. “What kind of world will she live in?” I wonder. Will she find a job she loves? Will she be able to live comfortably? Will she be able to buy a house? Thankfully, we still live in the house our dad worked hard for—a parting gift before he passed.

The rain makes me think of the future. How long until the next storm arrives? How long before I can save enough to give our slowly decaying home its long-overdue repairs? How long before I need to start thinking about paying for something else? In some ways, the future seems distant, yet most of the time—overwhelming.

Still, I wonder about the future. What will it feel like to have the whole house fixed? Back to its former glory. I wonder when the future might feel as good as the past, a time that used to be much simpler.

Tonight, in the present, that same rain drips on that same desk. Two leaks, and a few more around house, have drenched my favorite notebook, along with a few other things. But that’s okay. We’ve let go of more difficult things, and repairs will begin soon.

Going on this mission was the farthest I’ve been away from my 2-year-old daughter, so my attention was drawn to the mothers and children of the community.

Seeing all the women here made me think about their hygiene routines during menstruation and pregnancy. What are home births like without access to clean water? How do they change their babies’ diapers, and how do breastfeeding mothers stay hydrated?

These questions highlight how important it is for communities like this to have clean water access. It’s a reminder of the daily challenges faced by those who lack this basic necessity.

Thank you for implementing clean water solutions in remote communities, and thank you to Hike Society for making this trip possible. 🥾💧✨
