𝗦𝗟𝗨𝗠𝗣 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗨𝗥𝗚𝗘

After falling short in their previous match, the JCA Men’s Volleyball Team—with its backs against the wall—bounced back, securing a come-from-behind victory over Eclaro Academy, 23-25, 26-24, 25-21.

Leading the resurgence was Sam Acuña, who earned 12 points off eight attacks and four blocks, including 15 receptions, and 14 digs.

Roshaun Esgana also provided support for the team’s offense with three attacks, four aces, nine serve receives, and 25 excellent sets.

The world came alive inside the Seed Dome as JCA’s Junior High School students paraded cultures, colors, and pride in their United Nations celebration on November 5, 2025, featuring a pageant and culminating activities that highlighted cultural appreciation and global unity.

JCA's Women's Volleyball Team recovered from its first game jitters today, November 5, as they escaped a see-saw battle with St. Francis Technology Institution, 21-25, 25-22, 28-26, at the Kings Montessori School.

Ashleigh Villanueva kickstarted JCA's comeback, leading the team with 17 points off nine aces and eight attacks, including nine receptions and four digs.

𝗧𝗛𝗘 [𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗘] 𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗨𝗔𝗚𝗘

The chatbot’s comfort is steady but never lingering, like light that reaches you but never stays. It’s there to guide you through the dark, but not to replace what the dark teaches you to reach for: presence, connection, and care that breathes back.

Maybe that’s the heart of it, that AI doesn’t teach us how to feel, it reminds us why we need to do it in the first place. Because care, in all its forms, was never meant to be efficient; it was meant to be felt deeply and at its own pace. No matter how fluent a machine becomes in empathy, the language of warmth and true care will always be human.

Ignite campus journalists Wendy Barit and Erich Joys Mares have been elected as officers of the Editors Guild District 3 in the recently held assembly on October 11.

Barit, who now serves as the Treasurer, and Mares, who takes the position of Auditor, were among the selected student leaders from various schools under the district’s organization.

Former Ignite Editor-in-Chief and National Press Conference winner Lourence Angelo Marcellana dared campus journalists in his inspirational speech at the recent District 3 Division Enhancement and Press Conference 2025 to not settle for recognition in competitions, but rather to be the public servants society needs.

“True success is outside this school; it is in the heart of the community. Let us not allow falsehood to win in this time of truth crisis. As journalists, we are the defenders of democracy, the light that will conquer the darkness of trials,” Marcellana pointed out.

It’s finally the “ber months”, everyone is preparing their Christmas decorations, but those are not the only ones making a comeback.

Health spokesperson Assistant Secretary Albert Domingo also says that this is called the “seasonal flu” as the Northeast Monsoon arrives, more ILI cases do as well due to the cooler, drier weather and winds from the northeast.

JCSGO Christian Academy (JCA) shifted to online classes from October 16 until October 30, 2025, after the school physician, Dr. Frederick Christian T. Calamaan, recommended the move due to a recent rise in influenza symptoms among students.
