1. Prepare a transition report.

2. Gaano kalaki ang outstanding Cash Advances? Sinu-sino ang mga cash disbursing officers. Demand the immediate liquidation of long standing CA.

Maaari bang magrenegotiate? Saan saan may pagkakautang? Saan napunta ?

-infrastructures ( completed, on-going at unfinished)

-personnel

-supplies and materials
wala kayang ghost deliveries?

-travels

Acquisition of properties or procurement of heavy equipment na nasa ibang bayan pala.

Conduct an inventory.

2 Vietnamese nabbed for medical malpractice

TWO Vietnamese nationals accused of medical malpractice in the country were arrested by agents of the National Capital Region Field Unit of the Philippine National Police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in an entrapment operation on Monday in Makati City.

CIDG-NCR chief, Colonel Marlon L. Quimno identified the two Vietnamese as a man with the alias ‘Phuong’ and a woman with the alias ‘Nguyen.’

The official said undercover officers from the CIDG Quezon City District Field Unit arrested the duo during a sting at the Doly Beauty Lounge located on H. V. dela Costa Street in Bel-Air Village, Makati City.

Col. Quimno said the two were caught in the act of practicing medicine, particularly in performing medical consultation and giving quotations for nose augmentation and body parts modification procedures, all without permit or license and registration papers from the Professional Regulations Commission.

“This constitutes a real illegal practice of medicine,” the official said.

PNP-CIDG Officer-in-Charge, Brigadier General Rolindo M. Suguilon commended the CIDG-NCR for their latest accomplishment in their campaign against all fraudulent activities in Metro Manila, including illegal practice of medicine.

The two suspects were the latest Vietnamese nationals arrested by the PNP-CIDG for medical malpractice in the country this year. The arrests were made mostly through entrapment operations in Metro Manila and Calabarzon region.

The suspects were charged with violation of the Republic Act 2382 or the Medical Act of 1959.

“They have introduced themselves as doctors and performed injection of stem cells, hair regrowth, body sculpture, bio stimulation, collagen, and derma-related procedures to their patients and clients,” said Torre after three of the Vietnamese were arrested in a sting in Imus City, Cavite last March.

All of the foreigners apprehended failed to present the required medical licenses and permits to dispense medical products, operate a medical facility, or practice medicine in the Philippines.

Confiscated from the foreign suspects were a huge volume of assorted medicines, medical and cosmetic products and related devices as well as notebooks documenting medical procedures, prescription medications, and receipts issued by the accused to their clients.

Gen. Torre has emphasized the government’s policy and commitment to protect public health and ensure that only duly licensed professionals practice medicine in the country in the wake of the arrest of the Vietnamese nationals-turned bogus doctors.

He added that the illegal practice of medicine poses a serious threat to public health, and the PNP will continue to go after individuals who engage in these unlawful activities. - by

KIDS TALK ABOUT GOD
BY CAREY KINSOLVING AND FRIENDS

INDEPENDENCE DAY:

What Is Freedom?

"In some places without freedom, girls aren’t allowed to go to school,” says Haley, age 8. “The only people I can think of who would like that are the boys! Boys in our class torture us!”

One time I asked a girl about the same age as Haley why God created boys. “So you could pester them. I love pestering boys,” she replied with a gleam in her eye that could only come from being truly skilled at her craft.

While women who can’t attend school probably feel enslaved, others, like Erin, 6, define freedom as “being out of school on weekends and holidays.”

If Caroline, 5, had her way, teachers could take a permanent holiday because she defines freedom as “playing all the time and eating what you want.”

I wonder how long someone could survive on pizza, ice cream and chocolate cake?

When America’s founding fathers signed the Declaration of Independence, they proclaimed that certain rights were inalienable. In other words, they believed these God-given rights superseded all government decrees. These non-negotiable rights include life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

“It’s something when George Washington and his men fought for you to be able to do what you want,” says Spencer, 7. “Like if someone told you to go to a certain church, you don’t have to go.”

Many Christian colonists came to America to escape religious persecution. Some kept running after they arrived. Roger Williams, a Baptist minister, fled Massachusetts in the dead of winter and settled Rhode Island. The state constitution he established provided a haven for all religious dissenters and a model for the framers of the U.S. Constitution.

The idea of inalienable rights given by God permeates the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. The framers realized that a relationship with God is a matter of the conscience and heart, which no laws can coerce.

“Freedom is having the right of speech,” says Laiton, 9. Yes, Laiton, the First Amendment to the Constitution guarantees the right to free speech, the right to assemble and freedom from the control of a state religion.

When Jewish rulers forbade the apostles Peter and John to speak or teach in the name of Jesus, Peter and John said: “Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you more than to God, you judge. For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard” (Acts 4:19-20).

“God tries to give everyone a big life of freedom,” says Cody, 7. “We have freedom because God is the Holy One. God gave his only begotten Son to die on the cross.”

Jesus submitted to unjust charges, beatings and crucifixion to bear our sins. After three days in the grave, he broke death’s grip forever for himself and for all who believe in him.

Living in a free country means very little if you’re enslaved by substance abuse, lust, jealousy, anger, bitterness or guilt. Actually, the wonderful political freedoms we have in America are like a dim shadow compared to the true freedom Jesus offers.

Paradoxically, spiritual freedom comes through declaring dependence, not independence.

Think about this: True freedom begins by believing in Jesus Christ and totally depending on him as your liberator from spiritual death. Only then can you break the old patterns of enslavement and experience the true freedom of his abundant life.

Memorize this truth: “Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free” (Galatians 5:1).

Ask this question: Are you living in spiritual freedom or slavery?

Realizing PBBM's directive to boost electricity, connectivity in remote areas
DBM releases P3.627 billion to ensure push for government's rural electrification program

To achieve President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s goal of reaching total electrification by end of his term, the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) approved the release of over P3.627 billion to support the implementation of the Strategized Rural Electrification and Operational Reliability for Electric Cooperatives (ECs) for 2025.

DBM Secretary Amenah "Mina" F. Pangandaman approved the release of a Special Allotment Release Order (SARO) for the said purpose to the National Electrification Administration (NEA).

"We have released more than P3.627 billion to cover the continuous implementation of NEA's Rural Electrification Program. Of this amount, based on their report, NEA will be able to cover the energization of 1,752 sitios and five (5) barangays under the 2025 subsidy," Sec. Mina said.

"Malaking bagay po 'yan para sa ating mga kababayan na hirap maabot ng serbisyo na mapailawan ang kanilang mga kabahayan. Sa pamamagitan din po nito, maisasakatuparan natin 'yung ipinag-utos ng Pangulo na bigyang internet connection ang mga paaralan sa malalayong lugar. Kapag may kuryente, magiging epektibo ang pagkakaroon ng connectivity gaano man kalayo," she added.

The energization of 1,752 sitios will be covered by P3.439 billion under the subsidy for FY 2025 for the Sitio Electrification Program under the FY 2025 General Appropriations Act.

Meanwhile, P68.839 million will rehabilitate five (5) barangays that were previously served by off-grid solutions but deemed unsustainable, through the Barangay Line Enhancement Program.

Further, a total of P120 million will be utilized to procure and distribute 4,000 units of Solar Photovoltaic Mainstreaming to provide electricity to communities without access to reliable power sources.

From 2017-2024 subsidy, the NEA has already energized a total of 9,645 sitios, leaving a balance of 9,622 unenergized targeted sitios to be funded until 2028.

Kabilang ang teacher’s self-care kits, exercise and sports kit at karagdagang disaster readiness kit.

FATHER'S DAY:

Why Does The Bible Say, "Honor Your Father And Mother"?

"Insanity is hereditary. You get it from your kids,” read a sign in Brussels, Belgium.

Or, as author Jean Kerr wrote, “The real menace in dealing with a 5-year-old is that in no time at all you begin to sound like one.”

The fifth commandment is designed to keep parents sane by giving children a principle to guide their behavior and attitudes toward their parents. I asked my friends to tell me how they honor their parents. If their behavior matches their answers, their parents are not only sane but very happy.

“I honor my parents by giving them hugs and kisses. I also honor them by buying them TCBY treats,” says Angela, age 10.

Frozen yogurt with hugs and kisses! If TCBY could package this combination, its stock would soar.

“I obey my mother and father by getting up in the mornings as sweet as pie,” says Kaitlin, 7.

I’m still working on this one. When I wake up, I’m grateful if I don’t hurt myself by tripping over the furniture.

Kaitlin also said, “When the Bible says your days will be longer (if you honor your father and mother), it means you will live longer.”

In a society obsessed with living longer, how many doctors recommend honoring parents? God promises a long life to those who honor their parents.

“I honor my parents by obeying,” says Christine, 10. “Like when they say to get them some water, I do it. I treat them like a king and queen.”

I’ll bet Christine’s parents treat her like a princess. It’s so easy to take parents for granted. Can you imagine a society where the Bart Simpson attitude wasn’t glorified? Why imagine when it’s within your power to be gracious to your parents instead of disrespectful? They’re not perfect, but neither are you.

“I love my mother and father,” says Gardner, 11. “They are the best. I try to obey them. I know they love me, and I love them.”

Something tells me that Gardner will never visit a psychiatrist’s office to find himself. Because he knows his parents love him unconditionally, he’s secure and able to love them in return. Love fosters love.

Years ago, I saw my friend Peter reprimand his 2-year-old son with a light tap on his hand. Following a gentle tap, his son began to cry.

The light tap hardly warranted tears. Suddenly, I understood and said to Peter, “Your disapproval hurts worse than the tap on the hand.” He nodded.

Only a father who loves his son can evoke such a response. This is the power of unconditional love.

God’s love for his children is akin to parents’ love for theirs with one very important difference: Even the best parents have flaws. God is perfect.

Jesus is the ultimate example of a son honoring his father. He listened to his Father’s voice and did only what he heard from his Father. His love for his Father and desire to please him was so great that he could say, “He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him” (John 5:23). Their will was one.

Obedience and honor are interconnected. The Apostle Paul wrote that Jesus humbled himself and “became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.”

Point to ponder: God has promised to bless those who honor their parents.

Scripture to remember: “Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right” (Ephesians 6:1).

Question to consider: How do you honor your parents?

DBM releases P1.347 billion to expand e-gates project at PH int'l airports, seaport

In adherence with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s directive to improve services for travelers, including air and sea passengers, the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) released a total of P1.347 billion to continue funding the Electronic Gates (E-gates) Project in major international gateways across the country.

The E-gates Project modernizes and digitizes the primary inspection process at the country's international gateways to further strengthen national security, improve efficiency, and elevate the overall experience of passengers while addressing issues of immigration congestion.

"To fulfill President Bongbong Marcos' directive of providing convenience to travelers, whether locals or foreign visitors, and reduce long queues at immigration counters, the DBM already released the budget allocation for the E-gates Project for 2025 amounting to P1.347 billion," Sec. Mina said.

"I would also like to note that in 2024, we were also able to release P1.976 billion to the Bureau of Immigration (BI) for them to procure for the phase 1 of the project. Magpapatuloy po 'yan hanggang phase 3 sa 2026. This year, nasa phase 2 na po tayo and we are appealing to the BI na tapusin na agad ang procurement process para maging fully operational na ang E-gates Project as soon as possible," the Budget Secretary added.

Several existing e-gates were installed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) and will be expanded to other premier international gateways in the country. The expansion of the E-gates Project is set to enhance the efficiency of security and immigration processes by catering to arriving and departing passengers, regardless of their citizenship.

It is expected to replace 50% of the overall manned inspection counters with modernized technology. Based on the project's modernization plan, the deployment of e-gates and corresponding funding provision will be distributed to the following airports/seaport:

* NAIA Terminals I & III

* Clark International Airport

* Mactan Cebu International Airport

* Davao International Airport

* Kalibo International Airport

* Boracay-Caticlan International Airport

* Zamboanga International Seaport

* Laoag International Airport

* Bohol-Panglao International Airport

* Puerto Princesa International Airport

Meanwhile, the target date for the full employment of operational e-gates is set on or before 15 December 2025.
