Did you know? 𝗔𝗯𝗶𝘃𝗮 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟭𝟵𝟱𝟬𝘀.

In the 1950s, Abiva Publishing House, Inc. created Christmas greeting cards adorned with paintings from the exclusive art collection of the Abiva family. They were vibrant artistic renditions of the daily lives of Filipinos, with each painting detailed and steeped in historical and cultural significance.

There were occasions when these cards achieved higher sales than publications, underscoring their appeal. Today, these paintings are preserved at the residence of Nena Abiva Garcia, a testament to the family’s dedication to preserving Filipino art. This innovation laid a strong foundation for its mission to celebrate Filipino history and culture.
