30 Years Since Graduation 🎓💛
Just attended our UST CTHM Alumni Homecoming a few weeks ago — and wow, time really does fly! We were honored as Pearl Jubilarians this year (30 years! 🥹), and it was such a heartwarming moment to come back home to España.
One of the highlights? We met again, and honored fellow alumni who were also our professors in college — a true full-circle moment. 🌸 They also gave short pep talks about how being part of the UST community helped shape their journeys. So inspiring!
But honestly, it left me with mixed feelings, too. We have so many graduates, yet only a few are actively involved in the alumni community. And with so many students in need — not just financially (scholarship), but also in mentorship, career guidance, and encouragement — imagine the impact we could make if more of us showed up, even just a little.
The truth is, Alumni Officers can only do so much. And even when we have great ideas, we often fall short on time or volunteers to bring them to life. 😔
So here’s a gentle nudge:
✅ If you’re grateful for what UST CTHM has given you,
✅ If you’ve built a life or career you’re proud of — whether or not it’s in tourism or hospitality,
✅ Maybe now’s the time to give back.
Visit the campus. Say hi. Ask how you can help.
Whether it’s mentoring, sharing your story, or simply being present, your time and presence already mean a lot.
You don’t need to be an alumni officer to make a difference :).
Sometimes just showing up, listening, or offering a hand is already a beautiful way to give back.
Let’s keep the spirit of community alive — not just for us, but for the future CTHM Thomasians who’ll walk the same halls we once did. 💛
