“I’ll be sharing my daily progress as I begin my journey as a bookkeeper not just to track how far I’ve come but to remind myself why I started. One day, this story might inspire someone who needs it.”

Today, I started with the most confusing part — finding my niche. It’s tough figuring out what you truly want versus what you stumble upon along the way. But somehow I found myself drawn to bookkeeping and it started to feel right.

I looked for resources and came across successful virtual assistants who freely share their tips, advice and tutorials. All I had to do was search and listen. Knowledge is out there, and once I understood what I needed, I knew that’s where I had to begin:
with LEARNING/KNOWLEDGE.

This is only the beginning but today, I took the first real step.

Sometimes, life pulls us so far in different directions — chasing goals, people, validation — that we forget where we truly belong.
“Go back home” isn’t always about a place.
Sometimes it means going back to you.
To your peace.
To what grounds you.
To the version of yourself you abandoned while trying to be everything for everyone.

Pause. Breathe.
Reconnect with what makes you feel whole, not what makes you look successful or strong.
Home is where your heart is settled, not where it's constantly trying to prove its worth.
And it’s okay to return to that space, no matter how long you’ve been away.

Go back home — to yourself.
To the quiet.
To your healing.
You’re not lost; you just needed time to remember who you were before the world told you who to be.

There’s a quiet pull inside of us — something that doesn’t need to shout to be true.
It’s easy to silence your heart when fear or pressure takes over.
But the longer you ignore it, the heavier it gets.
Your heart isn’t confused — it’s honest.
And when it speaks, it’s not just asking you to hear… it’s asking you to trust.

Listening to your heart doesn’t mean you’re naive — it means you’re connected to your truth.
And in a world full of noise and pressure, that’s the bravest thing you can do.

You won’t have to force anything when it’s right.
No begging. No proving. No chasing.
Because the right one?
They’ll see your worth without you needing to shout it.
They’ll choose you not out of convenience but out of conviction.
And when you’ve been overlooked before, this kind of love feels like peace.

Stop exhausting yourself trying to earn a place in someone’s life.
If they wanted to, they would.
Let go of people who make you question your value.
Focus on growing, healing and becoming whole not to be chosen but because you deserve it.

The right one will choose you.
Not just once but every day.
And when they do, it will feel effortless not because love is easy
but because it’s finally mutual.

You start to realize that not everyone will love the way you do with patience, with presence, with genuine care. You go the extra mile, think of others first and stay loyal even when it’s hard. But sometimes, that same heart gets taken for granted. And it hurts. Not because you're weak but because you gave something real in a world that often chooses convenience over commitment.

Don’t let the wrong people make you question your worth. Protect your softness without hardening your spirit. Set boundaries, not walls. Give wisely, not endlessly. Keep your heart open but learn to offer it only to those who handle it with care. Loving deeply is not a flaw; it's a strength. But discernment is your shield.

Not everyone has your heart and that’s okay.
You weren’t meant to match with everyone. You were meant to be true to yourself. The right people won’t make you feel too much, too soft or too loyal. They’ll see you and choose you not for what you give but for who you are.

There comes a moment when everything you believed starts to unravel. Not because you were blind, but because you were trusting. Lies don’t always show up loudly — they creep in slowly, dressed as reassurance, half-truths, or silence. And by the time you realize it, you're already holding something that looks like the truth but feels hollow. It's not just the lies that hurt — it's the fact that you accepted them as real.

Trust, but don’t stop listening to your gut. If something doesn’t sit right, dig deeper. You don’t owe anyone blind acceptance — especially when honesty starts to feel like a negotiation. It's okay to question what you're told. It's okay to walk away from something that feels built on instability. Protect your peace, even if it means choosing the hard truth over comforting lies.

Real truth doesn’t need to hide. If you had to question it over and over, if it cost you your peace, if it made you feel smaller — maybe it wasn’t truth at all. Let go of what’s built on lies, and make room for something real, even if it starts with just you.

Words are powerful.
A single sentence spoken in haste, anger or judgment can linger in someone’s heart far longer than we realize.
And often the things we say when we’re careless reveal more about us than the person we’re speaking about.

Sometimes silence is strength not avoidance.

Not every opinion needs to be voiced.
Not every thought deserves a platform.
Choosing to stay silent when your words would harm is not weakness; it's emotional maturity and compassion.

Pause before you speak.
Ask yourself:
“Will this help or hurt?”
“Would I want this said about me?”
If the answer leans toward harm, choose silence.

Be someone who speaks life, not wounds.
Because in a world full of noise, kindness still echoes the loudest.

We often think the hard parts are holding us back
but maybe they’re what’s lifting us.
Like the wind to a kite,
life’s pressures can feel like they’re pulling you down…
when they’re actually preparing you to fly.

And here’s the beautiful irony:
the higher the kite goes,
the more you must learn to let go and trust the string.

Not all control means freedom.
Sometimes you rise the most when you surrender the tight grip.

Let your growth be guided, not forced.
Your strength isn’t in fighting every gust
but in learning how to flow with it.

Be like the kite.
Embrace the tension.
Trust the process.
Let go when it’s time and don’t be afraid to rise.

You were meant to catch the wind.
So fly — even if it scares you.
