2 OFW in taiwan PATAY matapos makaladkad ng GRAVEL TRUCK sakay ng MOTOR📌
A migrant worker from the Philippines, working far from home, tragically died this morning (19th) at around 9:00 AM in Luzhu District, Kaohsiung. A 30-year-old Filipino man was riding with his 32-year-old girlfriend on Zhongshan Road when, apparently due to road construction, they inadvertently rode into a blind spot of a large truck. The truck struck them from behind, ran them over, and dragged them several feet, causing fatal head injuries. Surveillance footage clearly shows the truck bouncing as it ran over them, with the wheels leaving the ground a considerable distance – a horrific scene. It is understood that the two were a couple ; the woman worked at ASE Group , and the man worked at Da Bao Precision . Their employer stated that neither of them had come to work that day and their whereabouts were unknown.
At around 9 a.m. this morning, due to construction, Zhongshan Road in Luzhu District was narrowed, and one lane was closed off by traffic cones. A gravel truck was also parked on the side of the road. At this time, a 30-year-old Filipino man was riding a motorcycle with his 32-year-old girlfriend when they were sandwiched by two large trucks from the front and back. There was very little space left, and the situation was extremely dangerous.
The couple had just been captured on surveillance footage, appearing briefly from the left side of the screen, seemingly in a blind spot, when they were struck from behind by a 32-year-old male truck driver surnamed Fang. The truck ran over them and dragged them several feet, causing the truck to bounce violently. Both the couple perished under the truck's wheels. The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation and analysis by the traffic police.
It is reported that the woman worked at ASE Technology Holding Co., Ltd., while the man worked at Dabao Precision Manufacturing Co., Ltd. Their employer said neither of them came to work today, and it was unclear where they went. Their arduous journey to work in a foreign land, culminating in their tragic death far from home, is a heartbreaking story.
