Illuminating Pathways: UST Angelicum’s Educational Vision for Talented Learners
During the ceremonial signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between UST Angelicum College and ABS-CBN Star Magic, as well as the Memorandum of Agreement for student ambassadors, Rev. Fr. John Stephen P. Besa, O.P., LPT, MA, Rector and President of UST Angelicum College, reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to delivering a flexible, values-driven education. He emphasized that the college’s academic model is thoughtfully designed to support the unique needs of young professionals in the entertainment industry providing them with the structure, adaptability, and mission-centered formation necessary to thrive both in their careers and academic pursuits.
He emphasized that the UST Angelicum College system of education is well-suited for learners who require adaptable academic arrangements due to demanding work schedules particularly artists and talents in their formative years. As these individuals gain momentum in their careers, Fr. Besa noted that the college will guide them not only toward academic success but also toward becoming sources of inspiration.
“As you gain your momentum to be stars in the showbiz industry, UST Angelicum will teach you how to illuminate others through your light as stars, just like the star of Bethlehem that led the Magi to Jesus Christ,” he shared.
