This photo is just AI-generated.
But I want to share my thoughts with everyone.
Mga aking mga kababayan,
This image is not just a picture.
It is a mirror of our reality today in the Philippines.
It shows the pain of the ordinary Filipino.
It shows the greed of those in power.
And it shows the deep wounds of corruption in our nation.
Subrang thankful nato sa social media.
Because without it, we would not see the truth.
We would not see what the corrupt are doing behind closed doors.
We would not hear the voices of the oppressed.
We would not witness the struggles of our fellow Filipinos.
Pero ngayon, we see everything.
And what we see is painful for us.
Tayo nagpapakahiral para mabuhay araw araw pero kung sino pa umuupo sa pwesto sila pa ang patuloy na yumayaman.
The money meant for hospitals was stolen.
The budget for schools was diverted.
The funds for roads and services was corrupted. And what do we, the people, receive?
Sira ang kalsada or, broken systems, broken trust, everything!
Kapal talaga ng pagmumuka nila.
They smile on television.
They promise during elections.
They act as if they care.
But in truth, their pockets are full,
while the people remain empty.
This is the tragedy of our nation.
This is the reality behind the image.
And this is why we must not be silent.
We may not hold positions of power.
We may not sit in government.
But we have a voice.
And our voice is powerful.
Through social media, through conversation, through truth and
we can expose the lies,
we can resist the system,
and we can remind those in power
the people are watching.
Yes, it is tiring.
Yes, it is painful.
But we cannot give up.
Because if we stop,
then corruption wins.
If we stop,
then injustice prevails.
If we stop,
Then panu sino makapulos next? Aton nga mga kabataan nga nabilin.
So let us continue.
Let us fight with truth.
Let us fight with courage.
And let us fight for the Philippines we all deserve.
Salamat at padayon natin ang laban.
