The Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) is set for its biggest revamp in 30 years, with new tests tailored to specific teaching specialties.

Starting September 2025, the new system will roll out in phases with separate licensure exams for elementary and secondary education, with at least ten (10) specializations.

The long-awaited reform to the teacher licensure exam addresses the persistent teacher-subject mismatch.

The National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) announced on Friday, December 19, 2025 that 17,403 out of 47,537 (36.61%) passed the October 2025 Philippine National Police entrance (PNPE) and promotional examinations (PROMEX).
