The recently conducted extension activity, titled: "๐๐ง๐๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ง๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ฅ๐: ๐๐ฆ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ฌ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ก๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฌ," last October 4, 2025, Saturday, 7:00A.M. til 12:00Noon at RSU San Agustin Campus, Cabolutan, San Agustin, Romblon, Philippines.
The said event was initiated by Dr. Rexy Osorio Molo, a faculty from the Institute of Criminal Justice Education together with the 160 BSCriminology - 1 Students, who are taking the subject: GE 1101 - UNDERSTANDING THE SELF, this 1st Semester, Academic Year, 2025-2026.
The dearest KAPATID - PWD members in the Municipality of San Agustin, Romblon, Philippines, headed by Mrs. Nelly Mariposque Tan, Federation President CSO - PWD are the Recipients.
This Midterm Practical Activity was not only a Midterm Projectโyet a reflection of compassion, openness, and community spirit.
In collaboration with the very supportive people in the respective communities; SSC OFFICE Officers, headed by SL Christen Joy Mendez; and the CSO - National Chaplains of the Philippines, thru the grace of GOD, it was successful.
This program emphasized that education does not only mean books and classrooms. It is a matter of empathy which is learning to understand and respect others.
These efforts remind us that people with disabilities are not defined by what they can't do but by what they can and should be reminded of: their strength, ability, and humanity. When students lead in advancing awareness and togetherness, they contribute to a society that values and includes everyone, whether they have an ability or not.
This collective act of service serves as a hope and a reminder that through collaboration, compassion, and commitment, we can create meaningful changeโone step, one voice, one community at a time. In fact, this is the kind of education that shapes not just Professionals, but EMPATHETIC citizens.
Together, we aim to foster inclusivity, promote social awareness, and uplift the voices and lives of individuals who continue to inspire us through their strength and resilience.
