Almost 75 Senior High School and College student beneficiaries were given Educational Cash Assistance under the Balik Eskwela Tulong Pang-Edukasyon Program 2023 of Sangguniang Kabataan Officials of Barangay Poblacion, San Jose, Romblon.

This program aims to defray the students' school-related expenses such as tuition fees, miscellaneous fees, cost of school supplies, and other necessary materials. It is also designed to support students from low-income families financially.

The Department of Interior and Local Government issued a Memorandum Circular No. 2023-133 which launches the "BARangay at KAlinisan DAy (BarKaDa), a nationwide community-based clean-up drive program, anchored on the culture of bayanihan, that aims to maintain and provide a healthy and safe environment for the people through proper solid waste management. With reduced, if not eradicated wastes in various waterways, the program also aims to contribute to mitigating the impacts of flooding, as well as maintaining a clean surrounding to prevent the spread of diseases, such as dengue.

In connection with this, Sangguniang Kabataan Officials of Barangay Poblacion, San Jose, Romblon joined the said activity dated September 16, 2023 (Saturday) at 6:30 am to 7:30 am at Carabao Island Front Beach.

To those Senior High School and College Students of Barangay Poblacion who received text/email/chat confirmation that they are QUALIFIED for the Balik Eskwela Tulong Pang-Edukasyon Program 2023 of SK Officials of Barangay Poblacion, kindly bring the following on September 16, 2023 (Saturday) 3pm at Barangay Hall of Barangay Poblacion, San Jose, Romblon:

Photocopy ng mga sumusunod:

1) 4 copies Accomplished Application Form

(Maaari po kayong magdownload ng Application Form, mag message lamang po sa page ng 💟 "Sangguniang Kabataan-Poblacion, San Jose, Romblon 2018-2023", magpadala ng mensahe via Gmail 💟 [email protected] o pumunta sa Barangay Hall ng Barangay Poblacion at himingi ng Application Form. Hanapin lamang po si 💟 Miss Madel Carreon - Desk Officer (weekdays only).

2) 4 copies Enrollment/Registration Form (with stamp ENROLLED) Kung wala, any proof na ikaw ay enrolled this school year 2023-2024.

3) 4 copies of School ID, if not available, any Valid ID (Front and back)

RELEASE OF CASH ASSISTANCE & SUBMISSION OF COMPLETE REQUIREMENTS WILL BE ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 16, 2023 at 3:00 pm at Barangay Hall of Barangay, Poblacion, San Jose, Romblon.

Regarding po sa Certificate of Indigency, no need na po kayong pumunta sa Barangay. Kami na pong bahala sa Certificate of Indigency nyo. 🥰

Heads Up Youths of Barangay Poblacion! 📢📢📢

We, the Sangguniang Kabataan Officials of Barangay Poblacion, will conduct a "BALIK ESKWELA TULONG PANG-EDUKASYON PROGRAM 2023" an Educational Cash Assistance to selected less-fortunate Senior High School and College Students of Poblacion, San Jose, Romblon.

This program aims to help students to defray their school-related expenses even in a small amount.

To Senior High School Students:

▶️ We coordinated to the coordinator of the school and we will base and also validate the list that they will give to us. We believe in their capacity to evaluate and choose the eligible and deserving students to become beneficiaries of this program. We believe that they know the lives and different stories of their students very well as a second parents.
