Our Story
Historical Background • Lipa City District Hospital (LCDH) is a Level I health facility controlled by the Provincial Government of Batangas. • It was established by virtue of R.A. no 1200 sponsored by Ex-speaker Jose P. Laurel Jr. • Initially called the Lipa City Emergency Hospital, Started operation on October 1957 as a 25 bed on a 14,400 sq. m lot donated by Mr. Pedro Labindalawa, a very kind hearted civic spirited citizen of Lipa City. • Its name slowly evolved to became Lipa City District Hospital and its bed capacity slowly increased from 25 to 50, 75, 100, then to 120 bed in a span of more than 50 years of its service existence.
