As we celebrate the 53rd Founding Anniversary of Palawan State University, the PSU-ROXAS will once again quest for Miss PSU Roxas Campus.

Witness these 10 lovely candidates from the 5 programs (BSCRIM, BSHM, BSED, BEED, & BSBA) as they showcase their wit, talents and beauty.

MECHANICS:

1. To determine the winner for People's Choice Award, the 50 percent of the vote will be from the heart react and 50 percent will be from shares.

2. ONLY HEART REACTION "❤️" will be COUNTED and it is equivalent to ONE (1) VOTE for each candidate.

3. This voting process is open to public who have access on Facebook. Inviting friends to REACT and SHARE the photo is allowed.

4. Be polite and respectful at all times.

5. Online voting starts on Thursday, February 27, 2025 until Saturday, March 1, 2025 exactly at 12 noon.

6. The photo of the candidate with highest HEART REACTIONS and SHARES will be recognized as this year’s Miss People’s Choice Award.

The Palawan State University Roxas Campus thru the leadership of Dr. Flornita N. Ferrer, Campus Director, officially accepted the additional cleaning materials and forty-three (43) long tables as project of Junior Businessmen Association (JBA) for the new classrooms of the campus.

The project was realized thru the initiative of former JBA Gov. Bernard G. Zapanta and currently USG Senator and JBA officers of S.Y. 2023-2024 under the supervision of the JBA Adviser, Mr. Alvin U. Bontoyan.

The turn-over was awarded by the current JBA Governor Jess Loriene Sanchez and witnessed by JBA Officers S.Y. 2023-2024 and S.Y. 2024-2025, and all students under the BSBA major in HRM program.

This project is truly helpful to the students and the campus in providing quality tertiary education.

PSU-Roxas Campus' 4 Programs, now AACCUP Level 3 Re-Accredited

PSU-Roxas has reached another milestone as its four (4) programs passed the 3rd Survey Visit of the AACCUP Technical Review Team conducted in July this year.

The Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) relayed the result last week and awarded PSU-Roxas Campus the Level III Re-Accredited status.

The programs that have been elevated to Level 3 in Accreditation status are the following:
1. Bachelor of Secondary Education, major in Social Studies (BSED-Social Studies)
2. Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, major in Human Resource Management (BSBA-HRM)
3. Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM)
4. Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED)

"This quest for a culture of quality on the Campus is truly satisfying. With the students at the receiving end, providing them the quality service that they deserve is the best return that the campus can give," Campus Director Flornita N. Ferrer said in a separate interview, emphasizing the importance of delivering quality education and services to its constituents and stakeholders.

ADVISORY – WEARING OF COMPLETE PRESCRIBED UNIVERSITY UNIFORM

In pursuant to the Palawan State University Student Handbook Book II Article II Section 4 Student Decorum & Discipline (4.6) Policies on School Uniform.

A. Students are allowed ENTRY into the campus if they are wearing proper uniforms and IDs. Proper uniform could be the institutional uniform, PE uniform, OJT/Practicum and laboratory uniform.

B. Free days are on Fridays and weekends unless the college requires otherwise. Provided that students on their free day conform to the principles of decency.

C. Institutional uniform shall be worn during class hours, within the university campus. College Deans and their respective faculty members are responsible for checking the prescribed school
uniforms. The university uniform shall be;

1. for female students, coral sand blouse and peach pleated skirt (below the knee length) with black shoes (flats or with heels),
2. slacks (coral sand color) may be allowed for some programs as approved by the College Dean.
3. for male students, white polo or t-shirt with collar and dark pants with dark shoes (black, brown, or dark blue)

D. Students are required to maintain a neat and tidy hair style. Prescribed hair length for male students should not cover their ears, forehead, and nape and should be neatly presented. Wearing
of earrings and/or piercings for male students is also prohibited.

E. Exemptions on the wearing of uniforms may only be allowed for reasons of pregnancy or religion, upon request and subject to the approval of the Dean of the College or the OSAS Director.

F. School ID is part of the uniform; hence students shall wear their ID while in the school premises.

G. Cross dressing is not allowed within the campus.

Note: Wearing of uniforms starting September 30, 2024.
