P2P (Paper to Paper): A 3R’s Program of Hercor College - CCS Mediaflares.
Paper is such a part of our lives, it embodies a value that no other communications medium can match. We can use paper as a learning tool, it is an effective medium for researchers, and secure form of documentation and communication.
In Hercor College, Students are using papers to document all the important information that they can get in their classes. Teachers also use papers to give an examination but unfortunately, those papers cannot be use again.
In printing services, like in School offices, photocopy and computer shops, they could not avoid to commit errors. So, those rejected papers with errors will be trashed out for it has no longer use.
The team come up with an idea of creating a program that can address a solution to give life to worthless scratch papers. First, the proponents are going to collect scratch papers to REDUCE the amount of the paper waste to help our environment. The proponents will REUSE collected papers with small scratches and use it as a print testing materials and we will RECYCLE papers to be used again by making them into new products or we will turn used papers into new papers.
The Team will collect shredded papers, test papers, booklets, newspapers, magazines, handouts and other light papers that are no longer in use from students and School Offices. We will provide a booth in all campuses (Main Campus, Riverside Campus, and High School Department Campus).
