Today is National Heroes Day!

'Aspin' not askal — PAWS coined the term "aspin" to the short-haired dogs in 2007 in hopes of getting the treatment they deserve, and this worked. Like people, they deserve all the love and care even if tagged as underdogs and "asong-kalye."
