The CBMA women’s volleyball team showed dominance on the court as they won against the College of Maritime Education, taking the first set 25–15 and closing out the match with a commanding 25–8 in the second, September 9.

With this victory, the spikers proved their growing strength and teamwork, setting the tone for more winning performances ahead.

𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝐂𝐏𝐂 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐬 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐕𝐢𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲

As a celebration of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Colegio de la Purisima Concepcion (CPC) held a whole-day religious observance in which the College of Business Management and Accountancy (CBMA) actively participated at CPC Main Campus, September 8.

In the morning, the students and faculty of the main campus took part in the Holy Rosary at the school's chapel, while the afternoon event includes the Living Rosary, Offering of Flowers, and Coronation of the Blessed Virgin Mary whereas students were tasked to gather and witness various religious activities at the CPC main campus quadrangle.

To conclude the celebration, the CPC Chapel held a solemn mass in honor of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, bringing together students, faculty, and staff in a spirit of thanksgiving and devotion to cap the day’s series of religious observances.

As a Catholic School, CPC annually holds this celebration to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The CBMA men’s basketball team battled hard but came up short against the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management, ending the game with an 81–53 result, September 8.

Despite the loss, the team remains committed to working harder and is determined to bounce back in their upcoming games with stronger performances.

The CBMA women’s basketball team gave their all in their recent game, displaying teamwork and fighting spirit throughout the match but fell short with a result 45-10, favoring the College of Engineering and Technology, September 8.

Though the result did not go in their favor, the team remains focused on improving their play and is eager to come back stronger in their next outings.

The Catholic Church celebrates today the birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary on its traditional fixed date of September 8, nine months after the December 8 celebration of her Immaculate Conception as the child of Saints Joachim and Anne.

This victory proves the strength of CBMA athletes, turning past setbacks into fuel for success and showing that they are ready for even greater battles ahead.

In their recent match against the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management, the College of Business, Management and Accountancy women’s basketball team fought hard but fell short with a 33–10 result, showing grit and teamwork throughout the game, September 7.

Despite the results, the CBMA women athletes remain focused on improving their play and carrying the pride of their department, proving that one loss will not stop them from striving for stronger performances ahead.
