2.) Who are the members or qualified to be members of the association? a.)Former OFWs who opted to stay in the Philippines for good. Immediate family members of OFWs who are currently abroad. Immediate family members means spouse, parent or child who is above 21 years old. Must be residents of Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro
d.)

Must be willing to pay registration fee and monthly dues. e.) Must regularly attend meetings and important events that require their presence. f.) Must abide with the bylaws of the association.
3.) What is the purpose of the association? To provide our members with stable livelihood projects and employment that would support their families. We also have high hopes to bring a positive impact to development of our Municipality and eventually to the whole country.

The Sablayan Tourists Assistance Desk is manned by Staff from Sablayan Migrantes Consumers Cooperative, Students from Occidental Mindoro State College who are on their on-the-job training and staff from the Municipal Tourism Office.

FYI: The Sablayan Tourist Assistance Desk which is located at the Sablayan Pier next to BFAR in Poblacion, Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro is open up to Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026, from 8am- 5pm as part of the SEMANA SANTA OPERATIONS. It is manned by staff from the Sablayan Migrantes Consumers Cooperative, the Municipal Tourism Office and Occidental Mindoro State College student trainees.
The Sablayan Pier is the primary jump-off point going to Sablayan's popular destinations - The Apo Reef and the Pandan Grande Island.

Please be guided accordingly.

The Sablayan Migrantes Consumers Cooperative held its 2nd General Assembly last March 21, 2026 at the Sablayan Visitor Center with the theme " Strengthening Cooperative through Member Empowerment". This event was graced by the ever supportive LEDIPO Department Head Ma'am Erminda Candor and Senior Municipal Tourism Officer Ma'am Sylvia T. Salgado. Their insights are truly helpful in leveling up our game. We also would like to congratulate our the newly- elected BODs and Officers. Great responsibilities are waving.
