Dulce & Bloom is a small handmade craft business located in Barangay Rizal, Sagay City. It began as a simple and heartfelt hobby that later grew into a meaningful small business. The owner started crafting as a way to relieve stress and pass time, creating handmade pieces as gifts for her nieces to reward their good performance in school. What started as curiosity, mixing colors, shaping wires, and cutting ribbons, eventually developed into a passion worth pursuing.

The business officially began during Teachers’ Day, when the owner decided to sell her handmade creations. Since then, Dulce & Bloom has offered a variety of products such as bouquets (single, medium, and large), potted flowers, pen holders, hair clips, and Christmas trees. These handmade items are affordably priced, ranging from ₱35 to ₱175, making them accessible and meaningful gift options for students, teachers, friends, and loved ones. For the owner, crafting became a safe space during overwhelming times, with each piece made patiently and with intention, reflecting the belief that handmade creations carry a soul.

Dulce & Bloom draws inspiration from nature, colors, and continuous learning through tutorials and hands-on practice. The owner has grown to love the process of twisting wires, shaping ribbons, and carefully assembling materials into pieces that can brighten someone’s desk, room, or day. More than simple decorations, the crafts are designed to express warmth, effort, and the beauty of handmade work.

Beyond creativity, the business also serves as a meaningful way for the owner to stay productive while seeking employment. She is a graduate of Fisheries and a Civil Service Professional Passer. While waiting for the right career opportunity, Dulce & Bloom allows her to support herself and help provide for her family, showing that small beginnings can still lead to meaningful progress.

We chose Dulce & Bloom as our business partner because its story reflects creativity, perseverance, and faith. Despite the challenges of the competitive handmade industry, the owner remains committed to growing her craft. Through hard work, perseverance, and gratitude to the Heavenly Father for constant guidance, her creations have begun to gain recognition and appreciation. Supporting Dulce & Bloom means supporting a small business built with heart, one that continues to grow, learn, and bring genuine smiles through handmade pieces.

The St. Joseph Parish Youth Organization (PYO) launched its merchandise initiative in March 2024 to support and strengthen youth-centered programs within the parish. The initiative was first introduced during the Sinigayan Festival in celebration of the feast day of St. Joseph, held at the St. Joseph Parish New Church near the “Payag” of Cluster 3. After the reassignment of the former Parish Youth Director, Rev. Fr. Ricardo Boron, the initiative was continued under the leadership of the current Parish Youth Director, Rev. Fr. Carlo Lumenio, in collaboration with the PYO officers. Recognizing the initiative’s value beyond fundraising, it was preserved as a legacy project of the Parish Youth Organization, symbolizing youth unity, creativity, and active involvement in parish life while ensuring its long-term sustainability.

The primary goal of the merchandise initiative is to raise funds to support the parish youth’s programs, activities, and formation initiatives, including leadership development and spiritual growth. The merchandise is made available for purchase every Sunday after the Holy Masses at a booth located at the side of the church, allowing parishioners to support the youth in a meaningful way. More than a fundraising activity, the initiative fosters unity, shared mission, and a strong sense of community within the parish while helping nurture faith-driven and socially responsible youth.

St. Joseph Parish Youth Organization – Sagay is our chosen community partner because of its active role in guiding and supporting fellow youth through the Church. Its programs not only strengthen the faith of young people but also bring them closer to the Lord through spiritual formation, service, and active participation in parish activities. The merchandise offered includes customized T-shirts, hats, tote bags, and pins, which were showcased during the festival in a festive and faith-filled atmosphere.

Fuzzy Hues is a small business in Barangay Bato, Sagay City that began in 2025 sparked by a simple moment of inspiration. One of the owners came across a Facebook reel about making fuzzy wire bouquets, and what started as curiosity quickly turned into a creative idea worth pursuing. Soon after, she shared the opportunity with her sister and best friend, and that’s when Fuzzy Hues truly became a team effort built on trust and teamwork.

Today, Fuzzy Hues is proudly run by three College of Business and Management students who balance classes while building a small business with a big heart. They offer a variety of fuzzy wire bouquets which are thoughtful gifts perfect for your loved ones, friends, or anyone you want to make feel special. Each bouquet has a price ranging from ₱79 to ₱350 that means you have a variety of options to choose from. More than just a creative venture, Fuzzy Hues also helps them earn extra income while in college, showing that even small beginnings can lead to meaningful progress.

We chose Fuzzy Hues as our business partner because their journey shows creativity, teamwork, and determination. When you support Fuzzy Hues, you’re not just buying a bouquet but you’re also helping these small business owners sustain their goals, strengthen their passion, and grow a dream they bravely started from scratch.

Nanay Angela Saraum is a 55-year-old small business owner who has been faithfully running a small stall of religious items beside St. Vito Parish Church for nearly 40 years. For decades, her stall has stood as a quiet witness to countless prayers, church visits, and everyday acts of faith. Although she sells various devotional items, our partnership focuses specifically on her handpicked religious keychains and bracelets simple yet meaningful pieces that many devotees carry as symbols of protection, hope, and devotion. Through rain or shine, Nanay Angela continues to open her stall each day, driven by perseverance and a deep commitment to provide for her family through honest work.

We chose Nanay Angela as our business partner because her life story embodies resilience, patience, and unwavering dedication. Running a small sidewalk stall for four decades is not easy, yet she continues with humility and strength, relying solely on her livelihood to sustain her daily needs. By partnering with her, we aim to give her products wider support and recognition while honoring the sacrifices she has made to keep her small business alive for so many years.

When you choose to buy and support Nanay Angela’s keychains and bracelets, you are doing more than making a purchase you are helping sustain a livelihood built on faith and perseverance. Your support helps her continue a tradition that has served the community for generations and reminds us that even the simplest items can carry great meaning. Supporting Nanay Angela means standing with small local vendors, valuing hard work, and helping a lifelong dream continue to flourish.
