Ululupod kita nga maglantaw sang 18 ka mga salida halin sa Sagay kag bug-os nga Pilipinas sa aton "SAISayan: The 6th Margaha Film Festival"! Napulo ka mga Sagaynon shorts kag walo ka Philippine Shorts ang pwede ninyo malantaw humalin Pebrero 22 tubtob 28 sa three major venues diri sa Sagay.

Feb. 22, 3 p.m. - Festival Opening and Margaha Premiere Screenings at Margaha Beach, Brgy. Old Sagay

Feb. 23, 6:30 p.m.- "Gabi sang Pagkilala: The 6th SineMargaha Awards Night" at Sagay City Public Plaza

Feb. 23 to 28, from 6 p.m. onwards- Free Screening at the Plaza Led Wall, Sagay City Public Plaza

FEB. 26 to 27 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.- Free Screening at the AGM Hall, State University of Northern Negros- Main Campus, with talkbacks from the filmmakers

Three workshops and discussions will also be led by two of our jurors and the Film Development Council of the Philippines, so stay tuned in our page for more details!

We look forward to set and watch with you in the black sand beach of Margaha and in other venues in Sagay City! Bring your family and friends as we celebrate the heARTS month through our local films.

The Margaha Film Festival is presented by the City Government of Sagay, The National Commission for Culture and the Arts National Committee on Cinema, Film Development Council of the Philippines, Office of Vice Mayor Bebo Cueva, and SYANO Artlink.

This is also in partnership with Rotary Club of Sagay, and State University of Northern Negros.

Margaha Film Festival partners with the State University of Northern Negros for the SineMargaha Screenings

"The State University of Northern Negros (SUNN) has partnered with the Margaha Film Festival to hold special screenings on February 26-27, 2025. SUNN President Renante Egcas approved the partnership request, which will see the university sponsor the LED wall, venue, and screening management.

This will also promote Sagaynon stories and culture, and filmmaking and deepen the appreciation of the art.

Myra Vallente, head of the University Publications and Public Affairs Office, was also present during the courtesy visit.
