Food and Nutrition Security, Maging Priority!: Sapat na Pagkain, Karapatan Natin — Nutrition Month 2025 Celebrated with Parade and Program at M.S. Enverga Academy Foundation Inc. 🥦🍅🍍🍇
Sampaloc, Quezon, July 8, 2025 — With creativity, color, and advocacy at its heart, M.S. Enverga Academy Foundation Inc. kicked off this year’s Nutrition Month celebration with the theme “Food and Nutrition Security, Maging Priority!: Sapat na Pagkain, Karapatan Natin” through an inspiring and vibrant event that brought health and awareness to life.
The celebration began with a lively parade where selected students marched wearing handcrafted nutrition hats symbolizing Go, Grow, and Glow foods. Each hat was a stunning display of creativity. These unique creations reflected not only the students imagination but also their understanding of the importance of a balanced diet.
After the parade, the students gathered at the school’s New Building for a program organized by the TLE or Technology and Livelihood Education Club. During the program, selected students took center stage to present and explain the stories behind their nutrition hats. They shared the health benefits of each fruit, vegetable and meats featured in their designs and gave insights into how their hats were made using recycled materials, paper mache, and hand-drawn decorations.
The event was not just a showcase but also a competition. Judges carefully evaluated each presentation, looking at creativity, accuracy of information, and overall impact. Winners were announced at the end of the program, receiving cheers from classmates and teachers alike.
The day served not only as a celebration but as a meaningful reminder that nutrition is a right, not a privilege. With the students voices leading the way, the message rang loud and clear: Food and nutrition security must be a priority, starting with awareness and action in schools and communities.
