NEW TUBURAN STUDY CENTER BREAKS GROUND IN ILOILO
ILOILO CITY — Daguiao Foundation Inc. officially broke ground for the new Tuburan Study Center on June 27, 2026, marking a major step in expanding educational opportunities for students in Iloilo City.
The site blessing and groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Most Rev. Midyphil Billones, DD, Archbishop of Jaro; Governor Arthur Defensor Jr.; Mr. Roel Castro of MORE Power; Mr. Antonio Jon, President of Daguiao Foundation Inc.; Engr. Rene Tan, Director of Tuburan Study Center; and other guests.
Located along General Luna Street, Barangay Villa Anita, the multi-story facility will provide students with spaces for study, mentoring, reflection, and values formation.
Since 1991, Daguiao Foundation Inc. has supported educational and community initiatives focused on developing young men academically and morally. According to Foundation President Antonio Jon, the new study center reflects the organization’s commitment to providing a safe environment where students can learn, grow, and strengthen their values.
The project, to be developed by RBJR Construction Services, is expected to be completed within two years.
More than a new building, the Tuburan Study Center represents Daguiao Foundation Inc.’s continuing investment in the youth and its vision of building a better, more compassionate, and morally grounded community.
