Life really has a way of surprising you. If you asked me before, I would not have imagined myself stepping into this path. Yet here I am, now a licensed financial advisor, choosing every day to help people protect what matters most to them.

Not bad for my first Great UP Run—this boi placed No. 37 out of 1,109 in the 3 km category.

For context, I was supposed to run 10 km or even 5 km, but when I checked the site, all slots were already filled (as a late). Nevertheless, it was a great run—just a little bit bitin, I guess.

New PR for 3 km, finished strong at 00:18:13. To more PRs and runs! 🏃

Before this year ends, here's a special message for these two girlies I spent so much time with in university!

The Psych Trio—our GC was named that way—and I’ve always been lucky to have them both taking the same Psych courses, even though there were times we weren’t in the same section.

You two made my university life easier, from your endless support to rooting for me to pass, and especially for always including me in your plans, as you know—as a working g*e, haha.

Through the years, we shared the same struggles, frustrations, stories, and both the bad and happy memories with the DDDM CD Graduates, and of course, we overcame college together (completed: 6/6).

Sadly, graduation felt so rushed for most of us, and we didn’t get to “debrief and have one last catch-up” before facing post-university life, or even up to this posting (soon).

However, I am so proud of us for always thriving and taking up space—whenever and wherever it may be.

This year, while looking for a space to continue improving my leadership skills after graduation, I came across the Aspire Leaders Program and applied without hesitation.

Today, I am proud to share that I am one of the 9,988 finalists who successfully completed the program, selected from 54,337 students in Cohort 5 of the 2025 program year.

Thank you to the Aspire Institute for creating a platform that transforms lives and connects students from across the globe.

In response to the growing need for sustainable and trustworthy global leaders, the Aspire Leaders Program equips participants with critical leadership and problem-solving skills. Module 1 focuses on personal and professional development through a strengths-based leadership assessment and career-building resources co-created with Harvard Business School. Module 2 explores leadership, trust, AI, and community impact through the Aspire Horizons Course, designed and delivered by Harvard faculty.

I am deeply grateful to be part of this program and am officially now part of the ALP Alumni, Batch 2025.

I am an artist and I will always be one.

A performance piece I shared at Istoryahi! Zine as an Archive: Workshop and Fieldwork Kwentuhan, and the culmination of “Diwa’t Paghilom” by the Living Narratives Movement.

I wrote this piece early this morning after an exhausting, hustling day, and finished it while riding a tricycle. It fulfills me knowing that no matter how full and chaotic my day is, I still return swiftly to create and share something.

I hope this piece somehow inspires you to continue creating and sharing.
