One of my biggest surprises this year?
How powerful TikTok Live turned out to be.

I used to dismiss it as just another feature. But once I committed to going live daily on my tarot channel—even just for an hour—I saw a massive shift.

✨ Engagement skyrocketed
✨ I started getting monetized
✨ And on average, I now book 2–3 paying clients per day

What started as a small passion project on TikTok has now grown into a second stream of income—with a truly loyal and engaged community.

I’ll always remember the first client who took a chance on me.

He spoke fast in a British accent—I didn’t even understand half of what he said during our first conversation.

His name was Mark, and he trusted me even when I doubted myself.

I helped him build his agency and team when it was just the three of us in the beginning.

I wore many hats—social media, project management, recruiting, and all sorts of admin work you can probably think of.

That experience? It paved the way for me to support my family and helped shape the version of myself I am today.

So, if you’re someone thinking of hiring talents from the Philippines—give those newbies a chance. You might be surprised at how great they can be.

And if you’re someone just starting out and hoping to land your first client—have a little belief in yourself.
