Tañon College Inc. successfully held its 1st General PTA Meeting and Orientation Program on July 25, 2025, at the school gymnasium. The event, which ran from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM, saw strong parental participation and provided crucial updates for the 2025-2026 school year.

The program began with registration and community singing, setting a welcoming tone. Principal Jane S. De Guzman delivered an overview of the orientation, followed by presentations on the school's updated PVMGO and core values, curriculum changes (including the Matatag Curriculum and blended learning modalities), and key Department Orders concerning awards, recognition, and classroom assessment. School administrators and coordinators from both the Junior and Senior High School departments presented this information, ensuring clarity and addressing parental questions effectively.

A moderated open forum allowed parents to directly engage with school officials, fostering open communication and addressing concerns. The smooth running of the event was largely attributed to the excellent work of Master and Lady of Ceremonies, Ryan S. De Arce and Jella V. Almodien.

The meeting concluded with a summary of key takeaways and expressions of gratitude to the parents for their participation. The success of the orientation program underscores Tañon College's commitment to transparent communication and collaborative partnerships with its parents.

On July 17, 2025, the lighthouse of Tañon College Media Arts Club held a formal last meeting with the high school department in the school's AVR at exactly 3:00 p.m. The meeting was spearheaded by the TLMAC supervising director, Mr. Limbert C. Escobar, and the outgoing technical head chief, Kyle John C. Auditor.

The college department also turned over the equipment and responsibilities to the high school department and other members of the team. Kyle John C. Auditor, a BSED-Filipino student and also the Technical Head-chief of TLMAC, passed his position to the fourth-year, BSED-English student of Tañon College, Jovelyn S. Paz—who is also the former Social Media Manager of the club. Auditor also assigned Denise Shane P. Perfecio as the assistant head chief of the organization.

The former scriptwriter, multimedia manager, videography & photography director, and Mr. Auditor himself also gave their words of wisdom, gratitude, and encouragement to the high school department. Despite parting ways, Auditor promised a 15-30 day transitioning to ensure that the team will be trained well before completely letting them on their own. He will also be keeping in touch with the rest of the team constantly.

Paghiusa: One prayer, one voice, one heart.
Tañon College students and teachers stand united tonight, brimming with light and hope.

This meaningful gathering was made possible through the initiative of the Tañon College Supreme Student Council (TCSSC), as they continue to be a voice for faith, courage, and unity within the student body.

The night was filled with heartfelt testimonies from students and alumni, sharing their real experiences of struggles, perseverance, and the strength they find in being part of Tañon College Inc.

In a moving act of faith, everyone joined in praise and worship, made even more powerful through the beautiful collaboration with the Pasundayag Choir whose voices lifted our spirits and reminded us of the power of unity and prayer.

MAYOR RYG IN ACTION!!!

Let's continue supporting our local government under the leadership of our City Mayor Renato Y. Gustillo. We pray for divine guidance, wisdom, and strength as they navigates the challenges of serving our one Tañonian community.

Indeed, it is with immense sadness to hear the news about Tañon College, however with our strong faith in God and high hopes, I believe that we are one in this noble appeal to give our Alma Mater a chance to pursue its vision and mission – a living legacy in providing affordable and quality education by its late founder and a former municipal mayor of San Carlos, Eugenio “Nonoy” A. Antonio Jr.
