๐๐ก ๐ฃ๐๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ฆ: Fourth year Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) students, together with BEEd faculty extensionists of Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University โ Mid La Union Campus (DMMMSU-MLUC), spearheaded a Reading Remediation Program at Sevilla Elementary School (SES) under the Adopt-a-School initiative and Project STRIDE, August 14.
The program aimed to support struggling readers through targeted and engaging literacy interventions, which target to strengthen their foundational skills.
SES principal, Dr. Jonalyn C. Calumpang expressed gratitude to the extensionists for their dedication to learners while Dr. Estella A. Cayabyab, project leader of the extension program, motivated both student teachers and pupils to stay committed to the journey of learning and growth.
Also present during the event were: Dr. Loida M. Faller, NSTP Head; Ms. Connie L. Giron; Dr. Andrea Amor L. Dimalibot; BEEd faculty extensionists; and teachers of Sevilla Elementary School.
