Introducing the 𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐀 𝐃𝐄𝐋 𝐒𝐀𝐍 𝐅𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐎!
HISTORICAL – Casa Del San Fernando is one of the oldest structures in the town of San Fernando and declared by the National Museum of the Philippines as an “𝙄𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝘾𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙮” on March 20, 2013, recognizing its historical and cultural value. It was built on 1864 and serve as Spanish Cuartel and was once a home of the first Spanish Governor Don Pedro Maza Sanz. Through the watch tower at the back part of the Casa, it is easy to see the colonizers approaching the island. It is also a memory of the Spanish colonization in the Philippines from year 1521-1854.
AESTHETIC – The Casa Del San Fernando is 𝙢𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙗𝙡𝙤𝙘𝙠 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙬𝙤𝙤𝙙𝙚𝙣 𝙗𝙚𝙖𝙢𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙛𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙚𝙨 which is consider as Spanish Colonial Stone Masonry. It is also called as architecturally unique because of the watch tower built at the back part of Casa.
SOCIAL – Casa Del San Fernando is one of the tourist attractions in the town. Aside from nature, it is often visited by the foreign and local tourists because of its 𝙖𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮. On the other hand, weddings and events can be held at Casa Del San Fernando with a minimal fee just inquire at the Municipal Tourism, Culture, and Arts Office for booking and reservation.
