Trauma from CAP (College Assurance Plan)? 🥺

I know it's hard to trust insurance and pre-need companies if you are one of the parents who bought (or supposed to be beneficiary of) an education plan from CAP. The truth is several factors contributed to its downfall (see the link below).

At this point, should we trust these companies? The answer is YES! Here's why:

1. The sole regulator of pre-need companies at the time of CAP was SEC. Today, they're regulated by the Insurance Commission (IC) pursuant to Republic Act No. 9829. The IC ensures the protection of Filipino consumers.

3. With the technology that we have now, it's easy to keep track of your pre-need plan provider's company performance.
