A courtesy visit to the Acting Regional Director of Police Regional Office 1 (PRO1) to provide updates on the ongoing PRO1 Recruitment Processing for Patrolman and Patrolwoman applicants under the CY 2026 Attrition and Regular Recruitment Program.

During the meeting, RRSU1 presented the current status of recruitment activities and discussed initiatives aimed at ensuring a transparent, objective, and merit-based selection process for aspiring police officers.

The engagement highlighted the PRO1 commitment to recruiting qualified, competent, and service-oriented individuals who will contribute to the continued strengthening of the PNP organization.

The visit also focused on supporting and aligning recruitment efforts with the Enhanced 𝗔.𝗟.𝗘.𝗥.𝗧.𝗢. Framework of the Acting Regional Director, which stands for 𝗔nti-criminality and 𝗟aw 𝗘nforcement through 𝗥esponsive and 𝗧ransformative 𝗢rganization.

The framework underscores the importance of building a professional, Responsive, and Transformative police force capable of addressing evolving public safety and security challenges.

To: All PNP PRO1 Applicants for Regular and Attrition Quota for CY 2026

Please be informed that the conduct of the Psychological and Psychiatric Examination (PPE) for PNP PRO1 Applicants under the Regular and Attrition Quota will be held on May 21, 2026 at Bauang North Central School, Brgy. Central East, Bauang, La Union.

All concerned applicants are advised to report to the venue on time and bring the necessary examination requirements and valid identification cards.

Please see the posted announcement for the complete details and the official list of Qualified Applicants who will undergo the said examination.

Applicants are likewise reminded to observe proper decorum and wear appropriate attire during the conduct of the examination.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | On May 14, 2026, the 2nd PRO1 Recruitment Screening Committee (RSC) Meeting was successfully conducted and chaired by PCOL CHRISTOPHER ACOP, Deputy Regional Director for Administration of PRO1.

The meeting focused on the determination of the percentage of PRO1 applicants who will undergo the Psychological and Psychiatric Examination (PPE) as part of the PNP recruitment process.

Present during the activity were the RSC Members and other Resource Speakers held at the PRO1 Conference Room, Camp BGen Oscar M. Florendo, Brgy. Parian, City of San Fernando, La Union.

This initiative underscores the commitment of PRO1 in ensuring a fair, transparent, and comprehensive recruitment process for aspiring police officers.

The Physical Agility Test (PAT) for PRO1 applicants under the CY 2026 Attrition and Regular Recruitment Program was successfully conducted from May 6–12, 2026 at Brgy. Central East, Bauang, La Union.

The activity was facilitated by the Regional Recruitment and Selection Unit 1 (RRSU1) together with the Regional Medical and Dental Unit 1 (RMDU1), with representatives from the NAPOLCOM Regional Office 1 and the Integrity Monitoring and Enforcement Group (IMEG) present to ensure the integrity, transparency, and fairness of the recruitment process.

The successful conduct of the 5-day activity was made possible through the unwavering support of the Local Government Unit of Bauang, La Union for accommodating the recruitment team and applicants at the venue.

Likewise, the Bauang Municipal Police Station provided police assistance and security to ensure the orderly and safe conduct of the applicants’ reporting and participation throughout the activity.

The PNP remains steadfast in its commitment to a credible, transparent, and merit-based recruitment process in selecting competent and deserving individuals who aspire to join the Philippine National Police.
