As World Teachers’ Day is fast-approaching, the OLFU Captures returns to celebrate our dear educators! This photo-taking activity of the University is open to students currently enrolled in SY 2023-2024— whether from Basic Education, SHS, College, Dentistry, Medicine, or the Graduate School.

For this OLFU Captures edition, show everyone a vibrant photograph you have with your cherished teacher! They can either be a past or current teacher. Follow the instructions below to submit an entry.

The top 3 entries will receive cash prizes, and the best photos will be featured on OLFU's FB Page as well.

Announcement for the Pampanga Campus:

In accordance with Executive Order No. 29-2023, the 8th of September 2023 celebrates the 67th Canonical Coronation Anniversary of Virgen de los Remedios and, thus, government offices and classes in all levels (public and private schools) in the said province are hereby suspended effective 12:00 noon onwards.

In line with this, there will be no face-to-face & online classes, and asynchronous activities beginning 12:00 noon onwards in the Pampanga Campus on this day.

Do note that on-campus transactions with the offices of Admissions, the Registrar, and Student Financial Services will remain open to serve. Likewise, the OLFU Concierge will be available via Zoom.

Valenzuela and Pampanga Campuses:
Classes across all levels are suspended today, Monday, 04 September 2023. This is in synch with their respective LGU's advisories of class suspension due to the effects of the southwesterlies and typhoon "Hanna".

Take note:

1. Valenzuela Campus-
Online, synchronous classes and assessment tasks are also suspended.

2. Pampanga Campus- Online, synchronous classes will carry on as directed by teachers. However, assessment tasks to be carried out online will be suspended.

3. Valenzuela and Pampanga Campuses-
Do asynchronous activities from home. Check Canvas for teacher instructions, or continue to do homework, readings, projects, or review notes.

4. Valenzuela and Pampanga Campuses-
All offices and the online Concierge will remain operational.

For OLFU Campuses above, classes across all levels are suspended on Friday, 01 September 2023. This comes from Malacañang's declaration suspending classes in all levels and work in government offices in the National Capital Region due to the ravages of typhoons "Goring" and "Hanna", as well as the southwest monsoon. Likewise, the Antipolo and San Fernando LGUs have declared the same for their respective cities.

Take note:

1. Online, synchronous classes will carry on as directed by teachers. However, assessment tasks to be carried out online will be suspended.

2. Do asynchronous activities from home. Check Canvas for teacher instructions, or continue to do homework, readings, projects, or review notes.

3. All offices will remain open to serve.

Meet with like-minded individuals and develop more skills by joining a student organization!

The University’s Student Org Fair 2023 is coming up this September! Sign up for a club! There are various college-, academic-, and interest-based student organizations to choose from. See the list of clubs per campus below. Also, watch out for new and upcoming orgs that will be recognized this semester.

Come to the On-campus Org Fair on September 11 to 15, 2023 at the Valenzuela, Quezon City, Pampanga, Nueva Ecija, and Laguna Campuses; and on September 5 to 7 for the Antipolo Campus. Different org booths will be open to accept new members into their fold!

Bear in mind that dates may change and vary per campus.

Amidst the resonating success of Day 1's Welcome of New Students, the spirited festivities continued on August 23, 2023, as OLFU embarked on Day 2 of this joyous event. Our Lady of Fatima University Pampanga Campus has welcomed their new students with an enthusiastic celebration on August 22, 2023, marking the beginning of the academic year. The event showcased the school’s dedication to fostering unity and camaraderie among students. Decorated with vibrant banners, the campus hosted interactive booths from each college program, offering engaging games and activities for students to enjoy.
