In an order dated September 16, 2025, the Municipal Circuit Trial Court of Cabatuan, Iloilo, convicted a 29-year-old man, alias "Toto," for Section 6 in relation to Section 14 of RA No. 10643 (The Graphics Health Warning Law).

"Toto" was arrested through an entrapment operation on April 10, 2025 conducted by Regional Anti-Cybercrime Unit 6 for selling smuggled ci******es online.

Brigadier General Bernard R. Yang, Acting Director of the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group, lauded the operatives for the court's conviction of their arrested individual. โ€œEngaging in the sale of smuggled goods undermines lawful trade and endangers public health. We urge everyone to comply with government regulations and purchase only products that are legally recognized by customs,โ€ he said.

On September 20, 2025, at about 5:30 PM in Maramag, Bukidnon, operatives of the Bukidnon Provincial Cyber Response Team conducted an entrapment operation that led to the arrest of a 22-year-old man, alias "Joel," for the offering of unauthorized online dental services.

"Joel" is facing charges for violation of Section 33(a) of RA No. 9484 (Philippine Dental Act of 2007) in relation to Section 6 of RA No. 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012).

Brigadier General Bernard R. Yang, Acting Director of the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group, commended the unit for the successful operation, stressing, "Unlicensed medical services online endanger public health and trust. The PNP ACG strongly warns individuals against posing as professionals without proper authority. We remain firm in our mission to protect the public from these deceptive and dangerous practices.โ€

On September 21, 2025, at about 5:00 PM in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija, operatives of the Nueva Ecija Provincial Cyber Response Team conducted an entrapment operation that led to the arrest of a 40-year-old woman, alias "Regine," for offering unauthorized online dental services online.

"Regine" is facing charges for violation of Section 33(a) of RA No. 9484 (Philippine Dental Act of 2007) in relation to Section 6 of RA No. 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012).

Brigadier General Bernard R. Yang, Acting Director of the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group, commended the unit for the successful operation. "We remind the public to be cautious when availing of services online, especially those related to health and medicine. Always verify the legitimacy of the provider and ensure they are licensed professionals. The PNP ACG remains steadfast in protecting our citizens from fraudulent schemes that endanger both safety and trust," he said.

In an order dated September 15, 2025, the Regional Trial Court of Malabon City convicted a woman, alias "Magda," for violations of the following laws: Section 4(a) of RA No. 9208 (Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003), as amended by RA No. 10364 and RA No. 11862, and Section 4(s) of RA No. 11930 (Anti-Online Sexual Abuse or Exploitation of Children or OSAEC and Anti-Sexual Abuse or Exploitation Materials or CSAEM Act).

The court imposed the following penalties: for violation of RA No. 9208, the accused was sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment and ordered to pay a Php500,000.00 fine; and for violation of RA No. 11930, she was sentenced to 8 years and 1 day to 10 years and 1 day of imprisonment and ordered to pay a Php200,000.00 fine.
Additionally, the court ordered her to pay Php50,000.00 as civil indemnity, Php50,00.00 as moral damages, and Php50,000.00 as exemplary damages.

The conviction stemmed from her arrest on August 17, 2024, during an entrapment operation conducted by the Northern District Anti-Cybercrime Team.

He stressed: โ€œThose who exploit and abuse children will be held accountable and punished to the fullest extent of the law. Together, we can protect our children and ensure justice for the victims.โ€

On September 22, 2025, at about 9:00 AM in Dumangas, Iloilo, operatives of the Regional Anti-Cybercrime Unit 6 successfully arrested a 37-year-old female suspect, alias โ€œMay,โ€ by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by the court.

"May" is facing charges for two counts of violation of Section 4(c)(4) (Libel) of RA No. 10175, or the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012, with bail set at Php10,000.00 for each count.

On September 22, 2025, at around 8:45 AM in Mahaplag, Leyte, operatives of the Regional Anti-Cybercrime Unit 8 arrested a 27-year-old woman, alias โ€œAileen,โ€ pursuant to a duly issued warrant of arrest.

The suspect is facing charges for the alleged violation of Section 9(c) of Republic Act No. 8484 (Access Devices Regulation Act of 1998), as amended by RA No. 11449, in relation to Section 6 of Republic Act No. 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012), with bail set at Php72,000.00.

On September 22, 2025, at about 2:00 PM in Iligan City, Lanao del Norte, operatives of the Lanao del Norte Provincial Cyber Response Team served a warrant of arrest inside the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) โ€“ Iligan City facility against a 33-year-old man, alias โ€œAldo,โ€ for multiple counts of child abuse, online sexual exploitation of children, and trafficking in persons.

โ€œAldoโ€ is facing charges for violations of the following laws: Section 10(a) of RA No. 7610 (Special Protection of Children Against Child Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act), Sections 4(a), (c), and(n) of RA No. 11930 (Anti-Online Sexual Abuse or Exploitation of Children and Anti-Child Sexual Abuse or Exploitation Materials Act), and RA No. 9208 (Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003), as amended by RA No. 10364. No bail was recommended for all charges.

On September 22, 2025, at about 3:20 PM in General Santos City, operatives of the Regional Anti-Cybercrime Unit 12 successfully effected the arrest of two male suspects, referred to as aliases "Caloy,โ€ 21, and "Bugoy,โ€ 26, by virtue of a duly issued warrant of arrest.

The two accused are wanted for violation of Section 4(a) of RA No. 9995 (Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act of 2009), with bail set at Php42,000.00 each.

Brigadier General Bernard R. Yang, Acting Director of the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group, praised the unit for the successful implementation of the warrant. He stated, โ€œThe unauthorized recording and distribution of intimate content is a grave violation of privacy and dignity. On September 23, 2025, at about 10:00 AM in Pandag, Maguindanao del Sur, operatives of the Regional Anti-Cybercrime Unit - Bangsamoro Autonomous Region arrested a 36-year-old man, alias โ€œUsman,โ€ pursuant to a warrant of arrest.

"Usman" is facing charges for violations of RA No. 8484 (Access Devices Regulation Act of 1998), as amended by of RA No. 11449, in relation to Section 6 of RA No. 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012), and Section 4(b)(2) (Computer-Related Fraud) of RA No. 10175, with bail set at Php60,000.00 and Php72,000.00, respectively.

On September 23, 2025, at about 9:30 AM in Misamis Oriental, operatives of the Regional Anti-Cybercrime Unit 10 arrested a 24-year-old woman, alias โ€œFatima,โ€ pursuant to a warrant of arrest.

"Fatima" is facing charges for violation of Section 9(c) of RA No. 8484 (Access Devices Regulation Act of 1998), as amended by RA No. 11449, in relation to Section 6 of RA No. 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012), with bail set at Php72,000.00.

He also stated, โ€œCyber fraud remains a persistent threat that undermines financial security and public trust.
