Tropical Storm "Maymay"

Nakataas ang Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal no. 2 (TCWS) sa San Fernando, La Union.

ANG BAGYONG “MAYMAY” AY LUMAKAS BILANG ISANG TROPICAL STORM.

Lokasyon ng Sentro:
Ang sentro ng Bagyong MAYMAY ay tinatayang nasa 170 km Kanluran ng Bacnotan, La Union (16.7°N, 118.8°E) batay sa lahat ng available na datos.

Lakas ng Hangin:
May maximum sustained winds na 65 km/h malapit sa sentro at bugso ng hangin na umaabot hanggang 80 km/h.

Kilos ng Bagyo:
Mabagal na kumikilos patungong timog-silangan.

PUBLIC ADVISORY 📢

​Pursuant to Executive Order No. 42, classes at all levels and work in government offices in the Province of La Union are suspended tomorrow, August 5, 2026, due to the Orange Rainfall Warning issued amid the Low Pressure Area and Southwest Monsoon.

​Suspension of work in private companies is also encouraged and left at the discretion of their respective heads of office.

Offices providing essential services, such as health, disaster risk reduction, and emergency response, will remain fully operational.
