TAG was founded in 2006 by Engr.

The Louisian Theatre Ensemble is a part of the prestigious Center for Culture, Arts and Heritage (CCAH) of Saint Louis College. The Louisian Theatre Ensemble (LTE) was previously named Theatre Arts Guild (TAG). Dexter "kuyadong" S. Macaso who was an engineering student of Saint Louis College back then. In 2010, Sir Jeddahn P. Rosario (former member and president of SLU Dance Troupe) took office an

d started working as the SLC-CCA (later renamed CCAH) Director and Trainer/Adviser of SLC Samtoy Dance Troupe. In the same year, direk Dan Rommel Riopay (Tanghalang SLU Trainer and Director) gave workshops to TAG members and renamed the group to its present name Louisian Theatre Ensemble. From 2011 to 2019, Mr. Vernon Cabading helmed the group as their creative director. Now, LTE is already in its 20th theater season. On ๐‘ถ๐’„๐’•๐’๐’ƒ๐’†๐’“ 6 2025, Saint Louis College marked ๐‘พ๐’๐’“๐’๐’… ๐‘ป๐’†๐’‚๐’„๐’‰๐’†๐’“๐’”โ€™ ๐‘ซ๐’‚๐’š with a solemn Thanksgiving Mass, expressing gratitude for the commitment and contributions of teachers and academic staff who uphold the mission of SLC-SFLU.

Pinangunahan ng Louisian Theatre Ensemble (LTE) ang matapang na panawagan ng mga estudyante ng San Luis laban sa korapsyon at kawalang-hiyaan sa gobyerno. Isinadula nila ang reyalidad na tinatahak ng bawat mamamayang Pilipino, bilang estudyante, manggagawa, at simpleng tao. Ang makabagbag-damdaming pagtatanghal na ito ang lalo pang nagbukas ng damdamin at isipan ng mga Luwisyanong mulat man, ay tila walang kamalay-malay sa mas matinding katotohanan.

Kasabay ng panginginig sa gutom ay ang nginig sa pagod at galit ng kapwa Pilipino. Sa bawat pawis at dugong dumadanak sa pakikipaglaban nang patas, sa bawat pisong pinagpapaguran may maihain lang sa hapagkainan, iyan ang ninanakaw ng mga buwayaโ€™t baboy sa lipunan. Ang korapsyon ay isang pang-aagaw ng pagkakataon, na nag-iiwan sa mamamayan na nakikipaglaban hindi lang sa gutom, kundi pati na sa sistema mismo. Ito ang dahilan kung bakit, sa gitna ng kasaganaan ng bansa, marami pa rin ang nananatiling walang-wala at walang-boses. Ang pagpatay na ito ay walang ingay, ngunit ang epekto nito ay bumabagabag sa bawat Pilipino.

Today, September 29, 2025, the whole Saint Louis College community come together for a Eucharistic Celebration in line with the institutional day of Integrity and Accountability.

This is a response to the recent corruption controversy in the government which reminds us the urgent responsibility to educate our community on the moral, social, and environmental costs of such actions.
