Last December 6, 2025, the Fr. Burgos Gymnasium,Saint Louis College of San Fernando, La Union became the grand venue for Makibadang Louisiano: Dinner for a Cause and Recognition Gala, a meaningful event organized by the Saint Louis College Alumni Association (SLCAA).

On this remarkable evening, one of our proud alumnus, 𝙈𝙧. 𝙑𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙤𝙣 𝘼𝙡𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙩 𝙈. 𝘾𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜, was honored with the prestigious SLC Distinguished Alumni Award for Culture and the Arts—a testament to his unwavering passion, excellence, and contributions to the artistic community.
This successful celebration was made possible through the dedicated efforts of the SLC Alumni Association (SLCAA) led by its president, Mr. Manolito Gil “Butch” Z. Zafra and SLCAA Adviser Ms. Zenaida M. Miranda, with the wholehearted support of the SLC Administration headed by Rev. Fr. Roderick G. Villamar, CICM, PhD.

The SLC Louisian Theatre Ensemble and Teatrong Louisiano extends its heartfelt pride and highest honor to you, Sir Vernon Cabading.

𝐋𝐓𝐄 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐢-𝐁𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐨𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐨 2025

Last December 6, 2025, the Louisian Theatre Ensemble served as part of the stage crew for 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐢-𝐁𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐨𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐨 2025: 𝐃𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐚, held at the Fr. Burgos Gymnasium, Saint Louis College.

Guided by 𝙁𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙧 𝘿𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙧 𝙎𝙩𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝙏𝙖𝙖𝙮, the team ensured smooth transitions and timing that held the entire program together. 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙜𝙚 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙧 𝙏𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙨 𝘼𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙨 kept every cue tight and organized, while 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙜𝙚 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙡 𝙅𝙝𝙚𝙙𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙠 𝘾𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙩𝙖𝙜𝙚, 𝙓𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙧𝙖 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙙𝙤, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙉𝙖𝙮𝙤𝙢𝙞 𝙎𝙖𝙧𝙢𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙤 made sure each segment flowed seamlessly.

𝐋𝐓𝐄 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐀𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 “𝐓𝐨𝐩 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝” 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐅𝐫. 𝐄𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤🎂🎁

The LTE performers delivered a joyful tribute dance number for 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙁𝙧. 𝙍𝙤𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙠 𝙂. 𝙑𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙧, 𝘾𝙄𝘾𝙈, 𝙋𝙝𝘿, during the celebration of his 53𝐫𝐝 𝐁𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 24𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 on December 3 at the Fr. Burgos Gymnasium.

Performing his favorite song “𝑻𝒐𝒑 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅” 𝒃𝒚 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒑𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒔, the Ensemble served as energetic backup dancers while their special guest performer, 𝙈𝙨. 𝙂𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙖 𝘾. 𝙎𝙞𝙨𝙤𝙣, 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙀𝙭𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘾𝙄𝘾𝙈 𝘼𝙙𝙫𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙨 (𝘾𝙀𝘾𝘼), led the vocals. The performance brought smiles to Fr. Erick and the audience as the performers added a lively twist by bringing out 𝙇𝙪𝙞𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙇𝙪𝙞𝙨𝙖, 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙇𝘾 𝙢𝙖𝙨𝙘𝙤𝙩𝙨, elevating the fun and interaction onstage. To express our appreciation, LTE also presented red roses and a gift to Fr. Villamar.

Behind the performance were the LTE event staff who ensured smooth stage operations throughout the event: 𝙎𝙩𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝙏𝙖𝙖𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙁𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙖 𝘿𝙪𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙪𝙞𝙣 (𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙜𝙚 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙧𝙨), 𝙏𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙨 𝘼𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙨 (𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙜𝙚 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙧), 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙡 𝙅𝙝𝙚𝙙𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙠 𝘾𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙩𝙖𝙟𝙚 (𝙏𝙚𝙘𝙝 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙧), 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙈𝙧. The Saint Louis College Teatrong Louisiano (TL) and the SLC Louisian Theatre Ensemble (LTE) once again brought color, energy, and holiday spirit to the SLC Grandstand during the annual Paskuhan sa San Luis 2025, held on November 27, 2025. This year’s celebration embraced the theme “Pag-ibig at Pagkakaisa: Diwa ng Paskong Luwisyano.”

We extend our sincere gratitude to the SLC Student Affairs Office (SAO) and Mr. Jeson A. Mercado for the trust and opportunity to share the true essence of Christmas with the Louisian community.

A special thank you as well to our props by the Creatives Team, music arrangement by Gabriela and the stage crew led by Stevenson Taay, whose dedication brought depth and life to the production.

As the celebration continues, may the warmth of this gathering guide us toward the joyful anticipation of Christ’s birth, a reminder of the deeper meaning of Christmas.

As Saint Louis College marked the 163rd founding anniversary of the Congregation of the Immaculate Heart of Mary with a day of rituals, performances, and tributes, another team quietly held the entire program together—the 𝑺𝑳𝑪 𝑳𝒐𝒖𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒂𝒏 𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒓𝒆 𝑬𝒏𝒔𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒈𝒆 𝑪𝒓𝒆𝒘, whose work shaped everything the audience saw, heard, and felt inside the Fr. Burgos Gymnasium.

Providing direction on the ground, Mr. 𝙅𝙚𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝙈𝙚𝙧𝙘𝙖𝙙𝙤 , floor director, anchored the flow of the program from opening rites to stage transitions. Working alongside him, stage managers 𝙎𝙖𝙢𝙪𝙚𝙡 𝙅𝙚𝙛𝙛 𝙏𝙖𝙖𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙂𝙖𝙗𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙖 𝙉𝙞𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙚 𝙌𝙪𝙞𝙨𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙤 coordinated movements with steady precision, supported by assistant stage managers 𝙄𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙝 𝙅𝙤𝙮 𝙍𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙙𝙤 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙅𝙤𝙖𝙣 𝙏𝙖𝙥𝙤𝙣, who kept every cue, prop, and segment in place.

On the technical front, 𝙍𝙮𝙗𝙚𝙧 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙯𝙩𝙖𝙣 𝙂𝙖𝙨𝙥𝙖𝙧, 𝙅𝙚𝙧𝙧𝙮 𝘼𝙥𝙧𝙮𝙡 𝙋𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙮, 𝙍𝙞𝙘𝙖 𝙅𝙤𝙮𝙘𝙚 𝙂𝙚𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙖𝙜𝙪𝙞𝙣,𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙨𝙝𝙖 𝘽𝙖𝙙-𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙣, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙔𝙚𝙭𝙯𝙝𝙚𝙚𝙡 𝙕𝙮𝙧𝙝𝙞𝙚 𝘾𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙖 ensured that the lighting, audio, and atmosphere shifted seamlessly throughout the event—most especially during the Louisian Theatre Ensemble’s staging of Ang Munting Pangarap ni Theo, the day’s centerpiece performance that echoed themes of calling, courage, and faith.

Meanwhile, the documentation team—𝙀𝙯𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚 𝙋𝙚ñ𝙖 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙢𝙖𝙮 𝘾𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙨𝙤𝙮—captured the day’s narrative from both the frontlines and the sidelines, preserving the movement and meaning of each moment.Behind them, 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙡 𝙂𝙤𝙣𝙯𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙕𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙖 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙚𝙟𝙖 𝙍𝙚𝙮𝙚𝙨 made sure every prop was ready and in place, adding life and detail to each scene on stage.

A day this meaningful doesn’t just happen onstage. It happens because a crew like this one makes sure every part of the story stands exactly where it needs to be.

Recently, Saint Louis College San Fernando, La Union, celebrated the CICM’s anniversary of mission, which was held last November 27 at the Father Burgos Gymnasium, featuring a live performance by the Louisian Theatre Ensemble with “𝐀𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐩 𝐧𝐢 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐨: 𝐈𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐥!”— an inspiring story wherein the little boy Theo dreamt of becoming a priest and journeyed in breaking through the struggles of becoming one.

The performers graced the audience with their God-given talents and endless flow of passion as a tribute to the priests for their great efforts and dedicated spirits, with the dreams that stemmed from their strong faith.

Moreover, behind the curtains of the artistic performance, we thank the cast and the crew: SM, Tech, Costume and Props makers for this outstanding work. We also give our sincerest gratitude to Sir Jeson Mercado for always looking after us, with our LTE officers for leading us well in order to bring a story to life with a meaningful impact.

LOOK: Last November 23, the Lousian Theatre Ensemble had the privilege of witnessing “𝑽𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝑻𝒂ñ𝒂𝒅𝒂’𝒔 𝑩𝒐𝒏𝒊𝒇𝒂𝒄𝒊𝒐: 𝑨𝒏𝒈 𝑺𝒖𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒐 – 𝑰𝒔𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝑴𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒌𝒂𝒍” live at St. Louis College, San Fernando, La Union, inside the Father Burgos Gymnasium. The production’s intensity, message, and historical depth were nothing short of remarkable.

Beyond the story, we were able to closely observe their 𝒕𝒆𝒄𝒉𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝒆𝒙𝒆𝒄𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏—how they maximized blocking, ensemble dynamics, transitions, lighting, and overall production flow. Truly a 𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒃𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒉𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒌 for us in terms of performance discipline and how a cohesive team can bring history to life with such power and precision.

A heartfelt thank you to 𝙎𝙞𝙧 𝙅𝙚𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝙈𝙚𝙧𝙘𝙖𝙙𝙤 for giving us the opportunity to witness, learn from, and be inspired by such an outstanding production.

Tourism Week highlighted several LTE performers — 𝙎𝙖𝙢𝙪𝙚𝙡 𝙅𝙚𝙛𝙛 𝙍. 𝙏𝙖𝙖𝙮 showcased his versatility by participating in Mr. & Ms. CBA Night, earning the title of 𝗠𝗿. 𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗖 Representative 🏆, and also secured 3𝗿𝗱 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲🥉in the Brochure Making Contest during Tourism Week. Meanwhile, 𝘿𝙞 𝙑𝙚𝙖 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙮𝙩𝙯 𝙀. 𝙀𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙖 shined in Got Talent and claimed 2𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲🥈; 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙖 𝙅𝙪𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙝 claimed 1𝙨𝙩 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚🥇 in Tour Guiding Competition; 𝙍𝙪𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙡 𝘼. 𝙙𝙚 𝙡𝙤𝙨 𝙍𝙚𝙮𝙚𝙨 participated in LATC Got Talent; 𝙅𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙖 𝙇𝙮𝙘𝙚𝙡 𝙎. 𝙎𝙤𝙗𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙚 participated in the Cultural Dance Competition; and 𝙍𝙞𝙘𝙖 𝙅𝙤𝙮𝙘𝙚 𝙀. 𝙂𝙚𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙖𝙜𝙪𝙞𝙣, 𝙏𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙮𝙣 𝙀𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙖, 𝘼𝙧𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙚 𝙎𝙝𝙖𝙮𝙣𝙚 𝘿𝙚𝙡𝙖 𝘾𝙪𝙯, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙈𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙮 𝘿𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚 𝘾𝙖ñ𝙞𝙯𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙨 took part in the Front Office and Flight Attendance Announcement.

In the CSC Week, 𝙆𝙝𝙚𝙖 𝙉𝙞𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙚 𝙎𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙤 walked with confidence and grace, representing her mother club, Society of Political and English Academic Rapiers (SPEAR), and earned the title of 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗺𝗯𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 🏆during the CSC Ambassador and Ambassadress Walk.

From CASTE Week, 𝙋𝙧𝙞𝙢𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙤𝙡𝙖, who dressed as Anaca from the Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre series, 𝘄𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗴𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁🎖️. In Dolphin’s Got Talent, 𝙓𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙧𝙖 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙙𝙤 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙥𝙧𝙮𝙡 𝙋𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙮 earned 3𝗿𝗱 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲🥉 in the first set, while 𝘿𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙭𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙀𝙢𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙪𝙚𝙡 𝙀. 𝙏𝙚ñ𝙞𝙙𝙤 claimed 2𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲🥈 in the second set. 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚 𝘼𝙣𝙣 𝙇𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙖 also brought honor as 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻🎖️ 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝘀 𝗠𝘀. 𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗘-𝗖𝗥𝗜𝗠 2025 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿-𝗨𝗽🏆.

𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐞 ⛑️🏥

In response to recent health and calamity challenges in the Philippines, 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙤𝙪𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙖𝙣 𝙍𝙚𝙙 𝘾𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙨 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙡 (𝙏𝙇𝙍𝘾𝙔𝘾) organized a 𝑫𝒊𝒔𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒅𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝑭𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝑨𝒊𝒅 𝑺𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒓 on October 25, 2025, at the Saint Louis College Social Center. 𝙈𝙨. 𝙍𝙞𝙘𝙖 𝙅𝙤𝙮𝙘𝙚 𝙂𝙚𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙖𝙜𝙪𝙞𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙈𝙨. 𝙆𝙝𝙚𝙖 𝙉𝙞𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙚 𝙎𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙤 of the 𝙇𝙤𝙪𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙖𝙣 𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙀𝙣𝙨𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙡𝙚 (𝙇𝙏𝙀) joined the said seminar.

The event aimed to equip Louisian students with vital skills for effective emergency response, highlighted by an inspiring message from 𝙏𝙇𝙍𝘾𝙔𝘾 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙈𝙨. 𝙍𝙖𝙮 𝘼𝙣𝙣𝙚 𝙉𝙞𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙚 𝙉𝙞𝙧𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙯𝙖 on the importance of preparedness in all situations. The seminar’s highlight was the insightful lecture of 𝙈𝙨. 𝙑𝙖𝙣𝙚𝙯𝙖 𝙂𝙧𝙪𝙩𝙖, who emphasized the vital role of first responders in times of crisis, inspiring students to act with presence of mind and compassion during emergencies.

For LTE, it was a reminder that accidents can happen anytime, even during rehearsals or performances. Knowing first aid isn’t just a skill, it’s a responsibility to keep everyone safe on and off stage.

Indeed, disasters may strike anytime but being prepared makes all the difference.
