And to kick things off, I’m launching Para Sa Bayan—a podcast series dedicated to faith-based conversations on nation-building, leadership, and responsible citizenship.

Hindi sukatan ang kapal ng wallet at dami ng ticket ang kayamanan sa buhay. Mas higit ang mga bagay at pagkakataong simple pero nakakayaman.

Over the years, Kate and I have been supporting friends and students who sell a variety products to us (most we are fond of are homemade products.) We never failed to acknowledge their desire to earn a little for whatever their cause was. It just felt right to support them and somehow it gives us a unique sense of joy.

Today, I ask you to post this badge of support to small businesses. This testament goes a long way and will primarily bring the economics to the grassroots level.

I am sure that you will be busy in preparing a number of presents to give away towards the end of the year, think of other products that can make your friends happy while supporting local businesses.

People will continue to see the good and look thoroughly on the bad in you. Most of the time, they talk about it, enjoying the ridicule, and yes, it hurts. But what the hell... you are living the best you and not the miserable them.
