𝗜𝗖𝗬𝗠𝗜: Cheers, vibrant colors, and pride filled the Archbishop Emilio Cinense Gymnasium on April 27, 2026, as UNI-A Games 2026 officially commenced. Students gathered for a high-energy kickoff, beginning with the parade, followed by the Oath of Sportsmanship and the Lighting of the Cauldron.

Level III Nursing students played a prominent role in the opening ceremony of the UNI-A Games. Thomas Julio David, a gold medalist in the PRISAA Competition representing the University of the Assumption in Badminton Singles A, had the honor of lighting the cauldron. Meanwhile, Eunice Ann Silverio, the Ms. University of the Assumption 2026, had the honor of holding the trophy for the UNI-A Games Overall Championship, marking the official start of this year’s games.

The opening program of the UNI-A Games continued with the Bench Yell Competition, Mr. and Ms. UNI-A, and the Hero/Heroine, leading up to the championship games for various sports.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | UA CONP Showcases Excellence at Center Stage of Hero/Heroine Competition during UNI-A GAMES 2026

Level III Nursing student, Ralph Ryan Hipolito, bagged the Champion title in the Hero/Heroine Competition, portraying Osanyin—a sacred and powerful being known as the guardian of nature’s remedies and the master of herbs. Hipolito graced the Archbishop Emilio Cinense Gymnasium in an enchanting suit inspired by LUBBYSANTA, a blend of herbal plants with healing properties, reflecting the values and mission of the College of Nursing and Pharmacy in promoting health and saving lives.

Hipolito, representing the College of Nursing and Pharmacy, was hailed as this year’s Hero/Heroine Champion, followed by the College of Engineering and Architecture, while the 2nd runner-up title was secured by the College of Accountancy.

Osanyin, as the hero representing the College of Nursing and Pharmacy, serves as a reminder for future pharmacists and nurses to be instruments of healing and hope in the community.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | UA CONP Claims Back-to-Back Wins at the UNI-A 2026 Bench-Yell Competition

The UA College of Nursing and Pharmacy has once again proven its excellence, claiming back-to-back victory in this year’s UNI-A Games Bench-Yell Competition. With their loud, proud, and spirited cheers, the title stands as a proof to their resilience and unity.

From bedside care to community service, compassion remains at the heart of their legacy—showing that CONP not only heals and serves, but also lives with dignity and pride.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | The 3rd University-Wide Fire and Earthquake Drill was conducted today, April 21, 2026, at the University of the Assumption.

The activity was led by the Level IV students of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. Anchored on the theme, “UA Ready: Strengthening Awareness, Building Capacity, and Fostering a Resilient Assumptionist Community,” the event emphasized and demonstrated the importance of disaster preparedness on campus.

The drill was carried out in coordination with the Office of Student Affairs, the City of San Fernando Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, the Bureau of Fire Protection, and the Philippine Red Cross. Students and faculty members from various departments actively participated, contributing to the successful conduct of the program.

The program aimed to equip participants with essential knowledge of basic disaster and fire preparedness while also assessing the readiness of faculty, students, and staff in responding to real emergency situations.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗿. 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝘀. 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The University of the Assumption community gathered at the Emilio Cinense Gymnasium on January 22, 2026, for the much-anticipated Mr. and Ms. University of the Assumption 2026, an event that celebrated not only poise and beauty but also the Assumptionists’ spirit of going forth.

Level III nursing students, Chris Jacinth Pamintuan Guanlao and Eunice Ann Reyes Silverio, represented the College of Nursing and Pharmacy, bringing pride to their department through their confidence on stage and strong will of purpose throughout the competition.

Guanlao emerged as a crowd favorite, earning the titles Mr. Popularity and Mr. Scientia 2026 while showcasing his charisma, intelligence, and strong audience connection.

Meanwhile, Silverio delivered a standout performance and was ultimately crowned as Ms. University of the Assumption 2026. She also claimed several special awards, including Ms. Popularity, Best in Casual Wear (Female Category), and Best in Evening Gown (Female Category), marking a remarkable night of achievement.

Adding to their shared success, both candidates were recognized with the Best in Marketing Video award, highlighting their effective teamwork and creativity in promoting their department.

More than a competition, Mr. and Ms. University of the Assumption 2026 served as a reminder that excellence shines brightest when the confidence of going forth meets its purpose.

𝗜𝗖𝗬𝗠𝗜: Here are the winning answers of Eunice Ann Silverio, this year’s Ms. CONP, who was crowned as Ms. University of the Assumption 2026, and Chris Jacinth Guanlao, this year’s Mr. CONP, who was hailed Mr. University of the Assumption – Scientia 2026.

Both delivered meaningful and powerful answers, making their titles truly well-deserved.
