The way people waited for hours, morning to sundown, just to get a glimpse of Rene Baterbonia is truly amazing.

His story wasn’t just heart-wrenching but also inspiring. The way he had big dreams not just for himself but for his whole family is astonishing.

He could have the world of basketball in the palm of his hand but was snatched away by the elite’s greed and envy(so they say).

It is completely valid to feel devastated by how suddenly he was taken away. He was a son, a teammate, and an absolute inspiration to every young kid playing on a dirt court with big dreams.
