Kung pananglitan makapaak sab ang iro, ang insidente ang gikinahanglan ma-report dayon sa tag-iya sa iro, sa mga otoridad sulod sa (24) nga oras ug dalhon ang iro sa usa ka government o private veterinarian aron ma-obserbahan.

Kung ang tag-iya sa iro ang magdumili sa himoong obserbasyon sa iyang iro, pwede kining makamulta sa kantidad nga 10mil ka pesos.

Nasuta sa XFM News Pagadian 89.5 Pagadian nga base ra gihapon sa maong balaod, responsibilidad sab sa tag-iya sa iro nga abagahon sa ang pagpatambal sa tawo napaakan sa iyang iro.

Kung gahi og ulo ang tag-iya kay dili muabaga sa galastuhan sa pagpatambal sa tawo nga napaakan sa iyang iro pwede siyang magmulta sa 25mil ka pesos.

Kining tanan gipaklaro ilalom sa Sections 5 ug 11 sa naa*oy nga balaod:

Sec. 5. Responsibilities of Pet Owner. - All Pet Owners shall be required to:
(a) ###;
(b) ###;
(c) Maintain control over their Dog and not allow it to roam the streets or any Public Place without a leash.
(d) ###;

(e) Within twenty-four (24) hours, report immediately any Dog biting incident to the Concerned Officials for investigation or for any appropriate action and place suchDog under observation by a government or private veterinarian.

(f) Assist the Dog bite victim immediately and shoulder the medical expenses incurred and other incidental expenses relative to the victim’s injuries.

Sec. 11. Penalties. -
(1) ###.

(3) Pet Owners who refuse to have their Dog put under observation after said Dog has Bitten an individual shall be meted a fine of Ten thousand pesos (P10,000.00).

(4) Pet Owners who refuse to have their Dog put under observation and do not shoulder the medical expenses of the person bitten by their Dog shall be meted a fine of Twenty-five thousand pesos (P25,000.00).

(5) Pet Owners who refuse to put leash on their Dogs when they are brought outside the house shall be meted a fine of Five hundred pesos (P500.00) for each incident.

Samantala, maaaari din na maharap sa ka*ong sibil ang sinumang nag-aalaga ng a*o kung sakaling ito ay maka-perwisyo ng iba, at kahit pa ito ay nawala o nakawala. Ito ay malinaw sa Article 2183 ng Civil Code of the Philippines na nagsasabing:

“Art. 2183. - The possessor of an animal or whoever may make use of the same is responsible for the damages which it may cause, although it may escape or be lost. This responsibility shall cease only in case the damage should come from force majeure or from the fault of the person who has suffered damage."
