π—œπ—‘ 𝗣𝗛𝗒𝗧𝗒𝗦 | The College of Education (CEd) celebrated Teacher’s Day through β€œTogether for Teachers: Celebrating the Teaching Profession,” bringing together faculty members and future educators at the CEd Quadrangle, October 8.

The celebration featured performances, interactive activities, and tributes dedicated to teachers that emphaszied their role in guiding and inspiring generations of learners.

The event also featured the Eduk Bazaar, which showcased products from student entrepreneurs and CEd organizations that added a creative and community-centered space to the celebration.

π—œπ—‘ 𝗣𝗛𝗒𝗧𝗒𝗦 | Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) students wrapped up Day 3 of β€œLayag: Ang Paglalayag ng Ka-Fharms sa Alon ng Hospitalidad, Pagkakaisa, at Kahusayan,” organized by the Future Hotel and Restaurant Managers Society (FHARMS) and BSHM Fourth-Year Events Management Students, held at Honorato Gymnasium, October 8.

The morning session featured the continuation of the HM Skills Olympics, where students showcased their competencies in cocktail mixing with flairtending and cake decorating, followed by the presentation, judging, and awarding of winners. In the afternoon, the program shifted to a faculty enhancement training session, further enriching the learning experience within the hospitality field.

The day concluded with HM Night, carrying the theme β€œA Night at Atlantis: Glitz and Glamour Ball,” where students and faculty gathered for a green carpet arrival, section fashion show, mobile bar opening, dance floor, and gala night awards, capping the celebration with style and camaraderie.

π—œπ—‘ 𝗣𝗛𝗒𝗧𝗒𝗦 | First to third-year Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) Major in Science students took part in the β€œTechnology Against Waste and Pollution” seminar organized by the Science, Technology, Environment and Mathematics Society (STEMS), held at the BASC Function Hall, October 8.

The seminar centered on how technology can be used to address waste and pollution while promoting more sustainable practices and environmental responsibility. Through the activity, future science educators were encouraged to deepen their understanding of technology-based solutions to environmental concerns and recognize their role in helping promote sustainable communities.

The seminar focused on w**e appreciation and the principles of pairing food and beverages that provided participants with added industry knowledge relevant to hospitality education and service.

π—œπ—‘ 𝗣𝗛𝗒𝗧𝗒𝗦 | Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) students showcased their creativity, camaraderie, and competitive spirit during BYTEFEST 2026, held at the Institute of Computer Studies (ICS) Grounds, October 8.

With the theme "Building Young Tech Expert Festival," each BSIT section brought their own booth featuring various games, food stalls, and activities, providing students with opportunities to enjoy friendly competition, bond with their peers, and take a break from the usual academic routine.

Through this celebration, the ICS community were filled with technology, innovation, creativity, and fun that highlighted the students’ enthusiasm and participation beyond the classroom.

π—œπ—‘ 𝗣𝗛𝗒𝗧𝗒𝗦 | Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) students showcased their skills and creativity during the Day 2 of β€œLayag: Ang Paglalayag ng Ka-Fharms sa Alon ng Hospitalidad, Pagkakaisa, at Kahusayan,” organized by the Future Hotel and Restaurant Managers Society (FHARMS) and BSHM Fourth-Year Events Management Students, held at Honorato Gymnasium, October 7.

Highlighting the second day was the HM Skills Olympics, where students competed in different hospitality-related categories, including Market Basket, Buffet Centerpiece, Fruit and Vegetable Carving, and Table Setting and Table Skirting.

Through the simultaneous competitions, participants put their technical knowledge, precision, creativity, and time management into practice that provided a venue for them to demonstrate skills relevant to the demands and standards of the hospitality industry.

π—œπ—‘ 𝗣𝗛𝗒𝗧𝗒𝗦 | Fourth-year Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) students explored possible career directions in the digital sector through a seminar themed β€œIT Career Paths: Identifying Your Place in the Digital Industry,” organized by the Builders of Information Technology Society (BITS) at the BASC Farmers Training Center, October 7.

Held from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, the seminar featured discussions on career opportunities, industry expectations, and the different professional paths students may pursue in the field of information technology and cybersecurity.

The program also provided participants with an opportunity to engage with resource speakers through open forums, helping them gain a clearer view of the skills, preparation, and career choices involved as they move toward the digital industry.

Students from the Bachelor of Science in Food Technology (BSFT) and the Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (BSABEn) took part in the morning session, while students from the Bachelor of Science in Geodetic Engineering (BSGE) participated in the afternoon session.

π—œπ—‘ 𝗣𝗛𝗒𝗧𝗒𝗦 | Carrying the call β€œBe the Drop That Makes a Difference: Donate Blood, Save Lives,” Alpha Phi Omega Philippines (APO) - Beta Iota Chapter held a blood donation drive, held at the BASC Rene Cayetano Hall, October 6.

The activity encouraged members of the BASC community to take part in voluntary blood donation as a simple yet meaningful way of helping patients in need.

Conducted in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross, the initiative further showed the importance of maintaining an adequate blood supply while promoting volunteerism and community involvement among participants.

π—œπ—‘ 𝗣𝗛𝗒𝗧𝗒𝗦 | Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) students took part in Day 1 of the β€œLayag: Ang Paglalayag ng Ka-Fharms sa Alon ng Hospitalidad, Pagkakaisa, at Kahusayan,” organized by the Future Hotel and Restaurant Managers Society (FHARMS) and BSHM Fourth-Year Events Management Students, held at Honorato Gymnasium, October 6.

Featuring the Toque Ceremony for second-year BSHM students, and Pinning Ceremony for third and fourth-year BSHM students, the activity represented an important milestone for their growing commitment to the standards, discipline, and professionalism expected in the hospitality industry.

Joined by faculty members and parents, the program also featured messages and an inspirational talk aimed at encouraging students as they continue preparing for more advanced training and future industry exposure.
