𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘴?

She had built this image for years.
Writing stories,
Chasing deadlines,
Covering news.
She was always ready.

But one thing she wasn’t prepared for was seeing the familiar presence who was once closest to her soul.
Isn’t it strange how one person can still feel so known, even after you’ve spent years becoming strangers?

The camera is already at green—a signal that it is already recording.

She raised her microphone.

The crowd expected a question about the championship.

"How was the game?"
"Are you ready for the finals?"

Common questions a reporter would usually ask to an athlete.

Instead, her eyes met his.
For just a second it looked like a grief.

She smiled professionally.

She had spent years learning how to keep her voice steady.
"I know it’s a little bit late" 𝘚𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘪𝘥.
But somehow, her voice almost lost beneath the noise of the crowds, "but congratulations on your wedding"

"Thank you" 𝘏𝘦 𝘴𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬. It was a lingering answer—brief, yet heavy with everything they had left unsaid

But they both knew it wasn’t just a congratulation.

𝘐𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘱𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘏𝘦𝘳 𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘮.

Maybe, She was too caught up proving something that somehow failed to see what was already in front of Her.

Maybe, She had chased this dream long, before understanding what it meant to lose while chasing it.

Maybe, forever was just meant for memories to stay not for the people who made them.

𝙇𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙧𝙮 | 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐞𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬

”𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘰 𝘐 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶, 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵’𝘴 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘥𝘰 𝘯𝘰𝘸.”

Is there a right way to pray for someone like you?

𝘞𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘴, 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘩, 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦

I have never spoken about my prayers loudly; I always keep them silent. But night after night, I find my way to the altar, talking to God in my thoughts about you. The silence gets heavy, and everything left unsaid just sits in the room with me—so I leave it all in prayer, aligning my quieted heart with whatever comes next.

In dawn and dusk, I let my heart speak to Him as a way of spiritual communication. Praying for you doesn’t require complex words; it is a glimpse beyond what I truly feel, a quiet language that only He can hear. Can you see right through me?

I often pray for financial abundance, health, safety, and success. But among all the prayers I have made, 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘐 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘣𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦. As long as we pray, we prosper. Even in the quietest and loudest times, I will still find myself praying for you in every circumstance.

So I pray—this time, 𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶. This is my quiet act and my purest form of love.

‎𝙂𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙚 11-𝙎𝙩. 𝘾𝙡𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙨𝙞 𝘾𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙨 𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙁𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝘿𝙖𝙮 𝙖𝙩 𝙎𝙖𝙣 𝙑𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚 𝙀𝙡𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙄𝙣𝙘.

‎Earlier today, the students of Grade 11 - St. Clare of Assisi celebrated the feast day of their beloved saint, St. Clare of Assisi, by conducting a small but fun program for the students of said elementary school.
‎
‎ Aside from that, a few chosen student catechists taught the Seven Days of Creation, and Adam and Eve to the Grade 3 students, all the way through Grade 6. After that did the students conduct the small program with Sir Angelo as their emcee.

‎The students of St. Clare gave prizes such as school supplies and food. After that, they had a small gathering in their room
‎
‎The feast day of St. Clare of Assisi became one of their most memorable celebrations. A moment that you can't replace and is filled with joy--- not only to them but also to the students of San Vicente Elementary School.
‎
‎ This simple yet heartfelt activity came from the heart. It reflects communion, living out the value by serving willingly, sharing our time, putting service into action, and sharing what we have.

𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐉𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐬 𝐒𝐭. 𝐇𝐲𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐅𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬

SAN JACINTO, Pangasinan — The community of San Jacinto Catholic School, Inc. (SJaCS), together with parishioners and devotees, celebrated the Feast Day of St. Hyacinth on August 17 through a solemn Eucharistic celebration filled with faith, prayer, and unity.

The Pontifical Mass for the Solemnity of St. Hyacinth was led by Most Rev. Rafael T. Cruz, Bishop of the Diocese of Baguio, together with Rev. Fr. Roland Anthony S. Gavina, School Director of SJaCS. Many members of the community gathered to honor the town’s patron saint and celebrate their shared faith.

In his homily, Bishop Cruz spoke about the history of the Catholic faith in Pangasinan. He shared how the Augustinians were among the first missionaries to bring Christianity to the area, followed by the Dominicans. Their mission helped spread the faith to places such as San Carlos, Calasiao, Mangaldan, and San Jacinto.

The bishop also talked about the life of St. Hyacinth, a Dominican priest known for his strong faith and devotion to the Eucharist and the Blessed Virgin Mary. He recalled the story of how St. Hyacinth carried the Blessed Sacrament and an image of the Virgin Mary to safety during a time of danger, showing his deep trust in God.

Bishop Cruz encouraged the faithful to grow closer to God through prayer, especially by praying the Holy Rosary. He reminded everyone that the Rosary is not simply a repeated prayer but a way to reflect on God's love and strengthen one's faith.

The Mass ended with the singing of the “Himno na San Jacinto,” a hymn honoring the life and example of St. Hyacinth. The congregation responded with warm applause, showing their appreciation for the message of faith and devotion shared throughout the celebration.

The annual feast serves as a reminder of the strong faith, service, and unity that continue to inspire the people of San Jacinto today.

𝙂𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝟭𝟬 𝘿𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙣𝙨 𝘾𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙁𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝘿𝙖𝙮 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙆𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨

On August 14, 2026, the Dominicans celebrated the feast day of their patron saint, 𝐒𝐭. 𝐃𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐝𝐞 𝐆𝐮𝐳𝐦á𝐧. The official feast day falls every August 8, yet rescheduled due to the weather and moved the celebration to this day to turn their gathering into an act of service guided by their adviser, Teody Fernandez.

St. Dominic was a 13th century Spanish priest who founded the Order of Preachers. He lived to preach the Gospel, care for the poor, and guide others with humility and compassion. His values inspired the students to make their celebration meaningful. His feast day is August 8 and he is the patron saint of astronomers and the Dominican Republic.

Barangay San Vicente was affected by recent rains and the typhoon. Though flooding was not severe, water still entered homes and made daily life difficult. Residents faced struggles and needed a little help and care.

To show kindness, the students brought pancit, juice, and biscuits to share with the families. This simple gesture brought comfort and joy to the neighbors in need.

The Grade 10 St. Dominic extends its gratitude towards the MDRRMO for providing support with transportation so they could reach the flood affected families in Barangay San Vicente in which made the outreach possible.

The day ended with happy hearts. The Dominicans enjoyed their fun celebration, shared food, and reached out to others. They truly lived out St. Dominic’s spirit of joy and generosity.
