Much like the twilight of the night, senior Hyacinthians radiated an atmosphere of glam, confidence, and elegance during the Senior High School Social Night on March 19, 2026, with the theme "Above All Elegance: An Evening of Grace, Glamour, and Gratitude.

As the clock ticks 6:00 PM, the St. Hyacinth Parking Lot transforms into a dainty stage where student masters of ceremony Mr. Jhoven Carl Ocampo and Ms. Angela P. Del Campo, alongside faculty moderators Mr. Toedy John Fernandez and Ms. Rhea Faye Gonzalo led assembly of students in dashing suits and blazing gowns.

More than bantering through electrifying music and glowing lights, the program also highlights the selection of the night's top icons, evaluated by a distinguished panel of judges composed of Ms. Shane Castro Blanquera, Mr. Norman James Cuyo, and Mr. Jucel Tandingan.

Mr. Cymel A. Serafica and Ms. Crisha May Julian led the roster of awardees after taking home the honors as Mr. and Ms. Social Night. Following were Mr. Ajel Gamboa and Ms. Princess Rhian Lim who was crowned Mr. and Ms. Star of the Night.

Striking the night too, the panel also recognized Mr. Rainiel Serran and Ms. Hefrelle Francis O. Viernes as Mr. and Ms. Hollywood. Meanwhile, Mr. Brandon Shwarz and Ms. Lyndsay Jasmin Lacangan claimed the Best Dressed award for their stunning formal attire.

Completing the court of winners were Mr. Damian Shwarz and Ms. Nova Juliane Bangaoil as Mr. and Ms. Face of the Night, alongside Mr. Elijah Khyle Ramos and Ms. Sharmaine Ramos who was named Darlings of the Night.

With every ramp and step Hyacinthians take, the magical night not only carried grace and flair, but also cheers of memories worthy to remember.

And as the sun rises and the moon fades, the event successfully ends with poised highlights of laughter and dance, leaving the students with a profound sense of gratitude for the lifelong bonds forged within the Hyacinthian community โ€” a night to remember indeed.

A melody that echoes across the campus, a rhythm that unites every Hyacinthian heart, and a song that proudly celebrates our identity. The SJaCS Jingle is more than just musicโ€”it is the voice of the community, the sound of school pride, and a reminder of the faith, excellence, and unity that define San Jacinto Catholic School, Inc.

From the classrooms to the open grounds of the campus, the familiar chantโ€”โ€œSan Ja, San Ja, San Jacintoโ€โ€”resonates with the spirit of every student, teacher, alumnus, and member of the SJaCS family. Each note tells a story of dedication, learning, friendship, and the shared journey that continues to shape generations of proud Hyachinthians.

As the music plays, may it continue to inspire pride, strengthen unity, and remind us that wherever we may go, the spirit of San Ja, San Ja, San Jacinto Catholic School will always echo in our hearts.

The excitement continues to grow as we count down the days to SHS Night 2026, a celebration dedicated to elegance, gratitude, and unforgettable memories.

Inspired by the timeless charm of Hollywood, this yearโ€™s theme, โ€œAbove All, Elegance: An Evening of Grace, Glamour, and Gratitude,โ€ invites every Hyacinthian to step into a night of style and confidence. It is a time to reflect on the journey we have shared, appreciate the friendships we have built, and celebrate the achievements that make our Senior High experience truly meaningful.

Hyacinthians, prepare your finest attire, embrace the elegance of the evening, and get ready to shine like the stars you truly are.

โ€œTick, tock, tick, tockโ€โ€”the sound you hear in a room full of questions, waiting patiently for the right answers. In your mind, you tell yourself that thereโ€™s plenty of time to finish the test paper. Perhaps, confident enough to know that you can ace it in no time. You let out a good sigh, and suddenly hear something that made your heart race. Itโ€™s not a confession or a sudden โ€œI love you,โ€ but rather your teacher reminding you that thereโ€™s one minute left. Then reality hits youโ€”you write and write. Eventually, you have no choice but to pass your paper. And hereโ€™s the part where a friend might ask you, โ€œNasagutan mo lahat?โ€ and you have nothing to say but to accept and surrender. Your friend canโ€™t do anything but cheer you up and say, โ€œBawi na lang tayo next quarter, kakayanin.โ€

Nervous for the finals? Donโ€™t be! Review your lessons well, stay motivated, and trust yourselfโ€”you got this! And as Maya Angelou said, โ€œYou may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated.โ€

Bullying is a serious problem that can make students feel scared, pressured, and unsafe at school. In the comic, the victim is forced to give away his money, showing how bullying can make someone feel weak, lonely, and afraid in a place where they should feel protected. Many victims experience sadness, anxiety, and a loss of confidence because of repeated bullying. No student deserves to feel this way at school.

However, the comic also shows that courage can make a difference. Another student bravely steps in and says, โ€œThatโ€™s enough!โ€. His action proves that bystanders can help stop bullying by standing up for what is right. In the end, the bullies realize their mistake and apologize. This reminds us that people can change when they understand the harm they have caused. By supporting one another and promoting kindness, students can help make schools safer and more respectful places for everyone.

The senior high school department conducted its Grade 11 recollection on February 28, 2026, at the San Jacinto Catholic School, Inc. gymnasium, gathering students for a day dedicated to pondering and renewal of spirits.

The gathering highlights the struggles commonly faced by teenagers today and affirms that God remains present amid life's uncertainties. Sir Anthony Verania-De Luna, the guest speaker, shared relatable realities of adolescence: peer pressure, family conflict, and academic stress โ€” addressing these as "giants" that the youth must overcome, much like David facing Goliath with just a spear, a stone, and with God at side, reminding everyone that even at the cusp of the hardest obstacle, God provides clarity, strength, and courage.

Through guided reflections and heartfelt moments of sharing, students were encouraged to face their heart that carries the weight of challenges and reassess their priorities through trust in God's plans.

As the day winds up, the recollection concluded with students upholding the shared timely lessons, fostering not only academic achievement and growth but also watering the seed for personal spiritual transformation and moral strength.

Today, we honored the spirit of the EDSA People Power Revolution through a meaningful and memorable celebration. Representative students of SJACS stepped into history as they dressed up as our national heroes, reminding us that courage, sacrifice, and love for country live on through every generation. Their presence brought the stories of our past to life and inspired everyone to reflect on the values that shaped our nation.
Through this event, students gained a deeper understanding of how and why EDSA became a turning point in Philippine historyโ€”a powerful movement born from unity, faith, and the collective voice of the people.
More than just a history lesson, the event reminded us that freedom is something we must continue to value and protectโ€”especially as the youth who will carry these lessons into the future.
