Due to the abrupt suspension of face-to-face classes brought about by persistent adverse weather conditions, San Jacinto Catholic School (SJaCS) has fully adapted its learning delivery through distance learning modalities to ensure uninterrupted education for all Hyacinthians.

To highlight the resilience and creativity of its learners and teachers, these experiences were captured and turned into collages that reflect not only student engagement but also the collaborative spirit that defines the SJaCS community.

Despite the challenges posed by the weather, SJaCS remains committed to academic excellence and student well-being. The school encourages parents and students to stay connected, regularly check class advisories, and reach out for support whenever needed.

As per Executive Order No. 0062, s. 2025, classes at all levels are suspended on July 24 - 25, 2025 across the entire province of Pangasinan due to continuous heavy rainfall brought about by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

Thus, Hyacinthians will shift to distance learning during this time to ensure the continued academic success of all students.

Due to the anticipated rainfall and adverse weather conditions brought about by Tropical Cyclone Crissing and the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), the Local Government Unit of San Jacinto has declared the suspension of face-to-face classes on July 18, 2025 (Friday).

In light of this, Hyacinthians will shift to distance learning to ensure learning continuity and safety.

SJaCS students and teachers, together with parents, gathered for a significant event that combined a special community Mass, held at the School Gymnasium on July 14, 2025, at 8:00 in the morning, with a Eucharistic Procession and the Induction Ceremony of officers for various school organizations and clubs.

The program commenced with a solemn Mass presided over by the school director, Rev. Fr. Roland Anthony S. Gavina. In his homily, Fr. Gavina emphasized the value of action over words, urging the school community to live out their faith through meaningful deeds.

Following the Mass, the school community held a Eucharistic Procession, a solemn and spiritual journey that brought the sacred presence of Christ into everyoneโ€™s hearts. After the procession, attention turned to the future leaders of SJaCS, as the induction ceremony for the newly elected officers took place. Students and parents proudly stood to take their oaths.

The celebration served not only as a spiritual gathering but also as a reminder of the schoolโ€™s commitment to forming students who are both faithful and responsible leaders.

Hidden prowess was unleashed as various clubs and organizations held their annual screening tests and elections on July 10 and 11 of 2025, at San Jacinto Catholic School Inc. Carried out in their respective venues, the Hyacinthian community was given a chance to unveil their flair by competing for leadership positions and showcasing their talents.

The selection initially kicked off with the introduction of the club advisers, recognized as the backbone of each club, who smoothly facilitated the flow.

Clubs including the Christian Living Education (CLE) club, Drum and Lyre Corporation (DLC) English club, Organisasyon ng mag-aaral sa Filipino (ORGMAFI) club, Peer Facilitators Club (PFC), Scie-Math club, Social Studies Guild (SSG), and Sports club gathered into one to elect the officials who will serve for the Academic year 2025โ€“2026.

Meanwhile, the Hyacinthian Herald and Performing Arts Club (PAC) sought talented students eager to contribute their skills to upcoming initiatives that will leave notable remarks on the school.

With the help of the members of each club, the deserving were hailed to provide aid for future school-based activities.

As the school year continues, new faces arise for the new era of improvement. Each face carries the collective determination, potential, and the shovel to shape the path of future generations toward a promising tomorrow.
