The weight of healthcare costs in Antique is crushing. I've witnessed firsthand the despair in the eyes of parents struggling to afford even dextrose for their sick children, forced to buy it outside the hospital because our system has failed them. The province's hospitals are severely underfunded, lacking the resources to provide even basic care.

Daily, people come to my home seeking financial assistance for X-rays, medicine, surgery, and even ambulance rides. This heartbreaking reality fuels my resolve. Zero-billing hospitalization is a critical step—a beacon of hope—but it's only the beginning. We must fight for increased funding, improved hospital infrastructure, and a healthcare system that prioritizes the well-being of every family. The resilience of the Antiqueño people inspires me, and together, we will overcome this challenge.

We will build a future where 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗛 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗜𝗦 𝗔 𝗥𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧, 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗔 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗟𝗘𝗚𝗘 and where no one has to choose between food and medicine.
