Care for Humanity: Aiding the Poor to Strive in Life

MALAWI, Africa — One of the poorest countries in Africa, Malawi recently benefited from the Care for Humanity initiative of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), in partnership with the Felix Y. Manalo (FYM) Foundation. In the capital city, Lilongwe, over 1,000 residents received care packages containing essential items such as flour, salt, and cooking oil. Local leaders, including the community chieftain, acknowledged the leadership and compassion of the Church’s Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, whose guidance continues to inspire this global outreach.

This marks the fourth location for the Care for Humanity initiative in Africa this June, with many more communities set to receive
assistance as this mission of love and hope continues.

May 31, 2025 — The Executive Minister of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, led a worship service to God at the Local Congregation of Navotas, Ecclesiastical District of CAMANAVA. In this worship service 2,159 sites were connected worldwide through livestreaming.

In his homily, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo reminded the Church members to remain steadfast in their faith, so they would not be swayed or overcome by the wicked influences of this world.

During this worship service, another historic event in the history of the Church Of Christ took place, as Church members around the world witnessed the oath-taking of Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo as the Deputy Executive Minister of the Church Of Christ.
