I've been reading several posts about an influencer who was criticized for riding an elephant during her trip to Thailand—a country where elephants are often abused in tourism. Now, this same influencer is speaking out against allowing pets in restaurants, citing hygiene concerns like fur in the food. While I understand the need for cleanliness, this feels like a small matter compared to the larger issue of how we respect and care for animals.

As someone who claims to be a Christian, I wonder if she has fully considered the teachings of the Bible, which emphasize love and respect for all of God’s creatures. Proverbs 12:10 says, "The righteous care for the needs of their animals." This should apply to all animals, whether they’re wild or pets.

Dogs, no matter their breed, are companions that bring joy, comfort, and unconditional love to our lives. They aren’t just inconveniences to be excluded from spaces. If a restaurant is pet-friendly, simple solutions like designated areas or hygiene practices can easily address any concerns about cleanliness without denying pets the right to be with their humans.

We should strive to create a world where animals are treated with the love and respect they deserve. Whether it’s elephants in the tourism industry or pets in restaurants, we have a responsibility to care for them as part of God’s creation. Let’s focus on fostering kindness, not exclusion. 🐕🐘❤️

Sa patuloy na pag-ulan at pagtaas ng baha dulot ng , hinihikayat namin ang lahat ng may-ari ng mga alagang hayop na gawin ang lahat ng posibleng hakbang upang protektahan ang kanilang mga alaga sa mga hamong ito. Sa panahon ng krisis, ang kanilang kaligtasan ay nasa inyong mga kamay.

❗️MAGHANDA. Magkaroon ng plano sa paglikas at emergency go-kit na kumpleto sa mga pangunahing pangangailangan tulad ng pagkain ng alagang hayop, tubig, mga gamit pang-unang lunas, at mga medikal na rekord. Siguraduhing alam ninyo kung paano at saan ligtas na ilipat ang inyong mga alaga.

❗️MAGING MALIKHAIN. Sa mga emergency, ang mga pang-araw-araw na gamit tulad ng mga basket ng labahan o palanggana ay maaaring magsilbing pansamantalang kulungan.

‼️HUWAG SILANG IWAN. Ang inyong mga alaga ay pamilya at hindi dapat iwanan sa mahihirap na panahon. Kung, sa anumang kadahilanan, hindi ninyo sila maaaring isama, PAKIUSAP, PALAYAIN AT HUWAG ITALI upang mabigyan sila ng pagkakataong mabuhay.
