After nearly a decade of loyal service, Tayabo High School says a heartfelt goodbye to one of its most beloved figures โ Kuya Cesar Imana, the schoolโs ever-reliable morning watchman and all-around helping hand.
Known affectionately as โKuyaโ or โManong Cesarโ by students, teachers, and parents alike, Mr. Imana has been more than just a watchman. For almost ten years, he stood as the quiet guardian of the schoolโs gate, always greeting early risers with a nod, a smile, or a warm โGood morning!โ But beyond his official role, Kuya Cesarโs contributions reached far beyond the time clock.
Need someone to fix a broken chair? He was there. From checking the school grounds to assisting in setting up events, his presence became an integral part of daily life at Tayabo High. Teachers recall how he would go out of his way to help without being asked, staying late at night in school during competitions, while students remember the comforting sense of safety his presence brought.
For most of the learners, heโs not just a watchman, heโs family. His work ethic, humility, and genuine care for the school made a lasting impact to all of the Tayaboenians.
As he steps into retirement, Kuya Cesar leaves behind more than an empty guard post โ he leaves a legacy of service, kindness, and dedication that will be remembered by generations of Tayabo High School learners and staff.
Indeed, it wonโt be the same without him. But as he trades his morning rounds for well-deserved rest, Tayabo High School will always carry the imprint of his quiet, steadfast presence.
Thank you, Kuya Cesar. Your watch may have ended, but your memory will always stand guard.
