PascualLab and its institutional partners were recently honored by the Intellectual Property Office Philippines for three exclusive patents on novel nutraceutical compositions and preparation methods using plants endemic to the Philippines.
The recognition took place during UP Manila’s Technology Transfer and Business Development Office 10th anniversary. Reginald Philip Alto, Head of PascualLab’s Herbal R&D team, was among the co-inventors recognized for their collaborative research under the DOST Tuklas-Lunas Program.
Under Republic Act No. 8923 (Intellectual Property Code), these patents grant the patentees sole rights for 20 years, strengthening PascualLab’s intellectual property and trusted products like Poten-Cee, Ascof Lagundi, C-Lium Fibre, and OraCare Mouthrinse.
