To the Person I Have Deeply Hurt,
I am writing this letter with a heart full of regret and humility.
I know that because of what happened, the trust you once gave me disappeared in an instant. I understand that trust is not something that can be rebuilt overnight, and I know that my apology alone cannot erase the pain, disappointment, or hurt that I caused.
Even so, I am sincerely grateful that you accepted my apology. It means more to me than words can express. I also understand if things will never be the same again, and I accept that rebuilding trust is something I must earn through my actions, not through promises.
I am only human, and like everyone else, I have made mistakes. I do not say this to make excuses, but to acknowledge my shortcomings and accept full responsibility for them. What happened has become a painful lesson that has changed the way I see myself and the choices I make.
I cannot change the past, but I can change the person I choose to be from this day forward. I am committed to becoming a better person—not only for myself but also for the people who once believed in me.
I do not ask you to trust me again right away. All I ask is for the chance to prove, through time and consistent actions, that I have truly changed. I hope that one day, my actions will speak louder than my words and show that I have learned from my mistakes.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to apologize. No matter what happens, I will always carry this lesson with me and continue striving to become someone worthy of trust once again.
With sincere remorse,
