Beneath the classroom windows here in Xavier School, the morning light catches on two colors stitched into our identity: blue and gold. They are not just threads in our uniforms or paint on our banners. They are symbols, reminders, and sometimes unspoken expectations. The colors of blue and gold seem to only be stitched onto our uniforms, but they have also been stitched onto ourselves, quietly shaping and representing the kind of men we are told to become, even if the meanings begin to shift.

A day after the announcement of the United States’ extradition request for Apollo Quiboloy for s*x trafficking and other charges, one of his lawyers, Ferdinand Topacio, criticized its “suspect timing”. Atty. Rico Domingo, who is not involved in the case, said separately that Quiboloy could be temporarily sent to the US before going back to the Philippines to be tried for qualified human trafficking, Aug. 21.
